Pep would ruin Cherki like he ruined Grealish

Robots only. No room for artists
How would pep ruin Grealish, that holding the ball forever sht like lebron only work at small clubs who build everything around said ball dominator. Everybody could see that Grealish was not gonna work at city. Go watch the chat exchanges we had when he was signed :comeon:

He was on their books till the start off the 23/24 Season. I trust Brighton's evaluation off a player, and i think Mikel does too.

The idea of Sesko i like, and what he can offer i like more. And honestly i dont think he's a project, just a player ready for the next step up. For me getting that wide left player, has been more important for me.

And fixing that midfield, individually Rice and Partey, were good. But collectively, it wasnt good.

He got sold to Coventry for like a Mill in 21, he never got a chance in that Brighton team.
Besides the point, I don't think we will get these next level LW, so that's why I'm so invested in the forward trying to take the burden of most the goals.

cherki type players are some of my favorite type of ballers, and i dont watch as much Lyon as I used to. But he has PL flop warning over him. In the PL you need the physical base sorted in order to show off your technical skills, why Sancho looked so good in the bundesliga and Antony now in Spain, too slow/weak to create separation in the PL but in slower leagues they can. Although Cherki is probably gonna play more centrally where you can get away with a lack of PnP more and if there is one team in the PL that suits him the most its probably Pep/City. International footy is also way slower than PL, why Pogba never looked like France Pogba for Man U.

My thing with strikers in the PL. I dont believe in 2nd chances.

You either gonna get it in this league or youre not.
he has never played in the PL. And he crushed it in the Championship

He just left the Swedish NT camp so something is probably cooking

Raphinha isn't?
Raphina showed us how clutch he for multiple teams — (club and international) He's just not as flashy as Vini but he gets results and he's playing out of position.

I'm not saying he's trash, he's an amazing winger to watch but how is he compared to Neymar but so shyt for Brazil, he's lucky he plays for Madrid.

He's not adapting to anything else, Mbappe is the better LW winger but you can't play Vini anywhere else.

Lol at the Raphinha stray

:mjlol:

I love to hate on RM players as much as anybody, but Vini was out there with a wasteman :scust:

I feel you, but Vini's been moving Shakey for you guys for a min tho.

Man those Maghrebi French talents are something - Cherki.

Here’s the thing - I know he is seen in Lyon as a bit ‘wild’, hence his fee being so low. So, is Pep going to be good for him? Can a well oiled system be good for him at this age, like it could have been for a Ben Arfa? OR is Pep going to suppress all that makes him so exciting - the free flowing style and playing on natural instincts?

I feel like Pep is going to be great for Cherki’s career - will probably allow him to learn how to be controlled and thus have a longer career. BUT it’s probably going to bad for football fans, in that all of what makes Cherki’s talents so rare become neutralized.

Yup. Prying Rodrygo from Real Madrid should be priority number 1
