I want to see the African clubs give a good account of themselves, will obviously have an interest in Madrid and seeing what Trent looks like in that setup early days and Xabi too, so I’ll be watching when time permits and will probably be more interested once it reaches the knockouts but really not a competition I’ll be all that invested in unless we were taking part

The clubs got blackmailed into taking it seriously. When Fifa told them no under strength squads otherwise sanctions/penalties of some sort.
The only thing I want out if this stupid tournament is that every player who has basically been playing nonstop for the last 12-24 months comes out unscathed. 2.5-3 weeks off last summer is no real rest. When it's recommended a minimum of 4 weeks.
