Busquets was coming up, Pep coached him at Barca B, the Busquets, Iniesta, Xavi trio won more trophies.
He was coming up, Yaya was World class he had no business taking the midfield reigns over him. Furthermore Yaya could do everything that Busquet's could do and more and if anything they both could have played together but he deemed him to be surplus to requirements after his performances in the season he had. It just doesn't make no sense.

Didn't Pep have him play CB instead?
In the copa final and the champions league final due to suspensions.
He scored the equalizer playing in defense in the final against Bilbao.

Barca fans and press alike at the time wanted to know why he was warming the bench and Pep was vague at best. As a coach he has his favorites so irrespective there was no changing his mind and Manchester City profited greatly for it.

He just seems like an all round piece of shyt and it's a shame as a spectator to see that trio of Toure, Xavi and Iniesta broken up only after a season in which they won everything.

I know this will make some people mad at the goat reference, but I can't help but laugh that Messi actually did a photoshoot with a bunch of goats.

I actually want Messi to be the GOAT. But perhaps in an era where CR7 exists, Argentina not winning the World Cup creates additional beauty to the glory that we've witnessed for more than ten years. Ronaldo and Messi, etched across the sky as dueling futbol gods. Forever challenging our minds to view the other as better - seldom as an equal
:wow:

You saw the results, so in retrospect it made sense. Pep took over at Barca and shipped out so many players, because of the style of football he wanted to play. Not only that but he got rid of alot of egos. It's far from a race thing.

Real talk I was gonna post the same shyt. Remember when Dwight Yorke was gunning for a managerial job but said black managers weren't getting open doors like that? Yet these 3 guys and Giggs get gifted jobs with no experience smh

Giggs is black, though.

The Arsenal
If Arsenal go after Fellaini...:francis: #EmeryOut
emery ain't making any signings. ivan made sure to mention that he was hired to be the head coach. he wasn't going to use the word manager and what all that entails in england. more like #svenout if nonsense like this were true. it isn't though. arsenal supporters eat up clickbait so they keep doing it.

Keita is chinese tho so it doesnt count

"I heard and read all the time that Guardiola really rated me. Everybody thought we had a great relationship, because he was always very positive about me," Keita was quoted as saying by Match.

"However, I never really played much under Pep. That was the only negative thing about my spell at Barcelona.

Seydou Keita: I don't speak much to Pep Guardiola but I have his respect

The Mali international has admitted to being a quiet person and not speaking with the trainer, but feels that his actions on the field have allowed his boss to trust him

Seydou Keita has admitted that he does not speak to his Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola on a regular basis, but feels that he has the coach's respect.

The Mali international is currently unavailable for the Catalan giants as he is away at the African Cup of Nations, yet the veteran midfielder has reminisced on how he became an important player for the European champions - by opting out of starting as a left-back in the 2009 Champions League final.

"I think it all started when we played the final of the Champions League in 2009," he told RMC Sport.

"Everyone wanted to play but the coach offered me the job of playing at left-back, a position in which I had never played.

"He said it was fine. No-one would refuse to play a Champions League final, but I'm not selfish [and said I wasn't comfortable]," he added.

"I think that's why I have his respect."

The 32-year-old also commented on his relationship with Guardiola, which he deems to be more professional than personal.

"Pep and I speak hardly at all. I am a person who does not speak much, even less with coaches,"
