Allegedly, his deal with Red Bull basically just requires him to literally just conceptualize and draw the car, explain what it's supposed to mean to their engineering team so they can make it happen, and show up to a few races. Maybe he's just over all the extra bullshyt that appears to be going on with them lately.

If Newey leaves for Ferrari, his design wouldn't see the Maranello factory until 2027(gardening leave until winter 2025; by then the 2026 car would be done). Have to cross your fingers Lewis stays on the grid until then.
