I wanted to start this thread as a means for Coli brethren to share tips and ideas for helping each other break out of the 9 to 5 and live the lives we dream of.

Maybe you're looking to finally quit your job and start doing your own thing. Maybe you have a few side hustles that just work really well. Maybe you're already doing your own thing and have some knowledge to drop. This is the place for growth minded individuals to gather and share nuggets of wisdom.

That wisdom could also be things that may not be about money, like how to shift your mindset, etc.

I want to see my brothas and sistas live the lives of wealth and prosperity they deserve.:blessed:

My goal is to eventually get this stickied one day.:wow:

Let's make some money.:shaq:

I'll start this off.

One technique I use to make me roughly $100/mo. is video affiliate marketing.

I accomplish this by means of product reviews.

What I essentially did was take a product that provided me a 45% commission on sales (Roughly $25 per product, but could go as high as around $140 per sale.)

I then added a brief but detailed video showcasing a review of the product. I also invited viewers to subscribe for future content. A BIG key here is honesty. Honesty sells.

The video wound up ranking #1 for my keyword. The views took off and so did the sales.

Next, I start getting emails when commissions are generated.

Cost: $0

Passive income.:wow:

What's some of you guys hobbies? Skills? What are you good at?

I personally have a bit of a knack for online work. I also do a bit of web design with wordpress.

My current project is launching an eCommerce store using Shopify as my CMS.

It will be based around a standard 'buy low/sell high' concept. I will buy from whole sale suppliers, customize it with a logo to add some value and mark it up.

Of course market research is important here as well. However the plan is to sell a few items in demand, keeping my inventory plain and simple.

First step is once they come in, to sell on amazon to just confirm that demand, then if all goes well, scale up from there.

What about you? Any particular skills you're leveraging to get ahead?
