I'm hearing if you don't see your character DO NOT make a new one in that existing slot because people's characters are popping up later and are not gone forever.

Pause the game in story mode, go to online-select character, and that should let you see if your guy is there or not.

Looks like emblems you published on one crew can't be published on another, even saved a new copy and still didn't give me the option to publish. All my other emblems that i never published gave me the option tho.

You probably still good. Go to rockstar.com and check your profile. I thought I lost mine too and his picture is still under my account with money, rank, and everything.
