I'm back to square one where I can't even do the fukking race. 
Found a couple ways to make cash. Selling cars. Can't be the exotic whips but like sedans muscle cars will do. Usually 5k for them. Can only do them once a day or 48 mins real time.
Missions with Gerald will get you cake. I found a 3k one scrapyard. Did that over and over. Then one where you have to blow up these Mexicans whips. That gets you 9k. It's tougher so make sure you do it with 4 people. 1 person won't work. 2 barely works.
Still looking for more ways now.
