Lil guy I rarely lose in this game and that's me being humble. I just hate some of these new additions to the game I love. Trash ass nikkas like you love instant spawn because you don't get punished when u die and have to watch ya death screen. Lol.

speaking of dying, lil nikka it's a new game...have you stopped going -15 every game yet?

yo hit me up in the next hr to run some customs. I got some competitive settings i wanna test. Found these on www.halocouncil.com and these are the best settings/tweaks in halo 4. The game plays WAY better with these settings and map tweaks. Here is the info to the changes

Features of Settings:

Set Loadouts w/choice of weapon -

There are 5 loadouts that are identical except for choice of starting primary weapon. All loadouts include Magnum, Resupply, Dexterity, and Thruster Pack. The only exception is in the gametype 2v2 where Explosives is used in place of Dexterity. In a perfect world I would love to loadout people with Dexterity, Explosives, and Drop Recon. Lets hope for this custom option in a patch.

Predictable weapon drops -

There is no more random weapon drops. Power weapons and power ups are on predictable timers as Initial Ordnance drops with resupply timers. Meaning the weapon will come back "X" amount of time after it is picked up. Drop spawns as used in Halo Reach and 3 are flawed in this game to the point where they are not usable for important power weapons. The waypoint involved in Ordnance drops offers a fair way to time weapons as they are picked up as well as the sacrafice of letting everyone know where you are when you pick up the power weapon. Items on Ordnance Drops are

Rockets - 3 min timer
Sniper - 2
SAW - 2
OS - 1 (static timer)
Damage Boost - 1min30s

Weapons that don't demand attention to promote movement were included as standard weapon spawns to avoid cluttering the screen with Navs and giving away your position for a(relatively speaking) unimportant item. These items include

AR - 1 min timer
BR - 1
DMR - 1
Supressor - 1
Storm Rifle - 1
Light Rifle - 1
Carbine - 1
Plasma Pistol - 30s
Boltshot - 30s
Jetpack - 2 on map
Grenades - Grenades are placed on the maps in packs of three, 1 of each type. It is particularly easy to spot grenade spawns because the pulse grenade sticks out quite prominently as it is orange.

Personal Ordnance Drops -

Have been made 100% predictable and serve to provide weapons desired for competition but otherwise have a hard time finding a role as a pickup on the maps. If POD prove to be a problem in competition or a specific gametype then we can simply turn them off and potentially replace the weapons on the maps with drop spawns. The issue with power weapons like the rockets is that the weapons despawn too fast, but in the case of less significant weapons it could be viewed as a skill to grab it in a specific time frame. PODs include:

Hologram
JetPack
Speedboost

Other Changes:

Auto Pickup turned OFF for Oddball -

110% Movement Speed Modifier -

Motion Sensor Disabled -

Extraction Gametype -

A must try, this will prove to be one of Halo 4's best gametypes.

At this point my suggestion for an 11 gametype tournament as MLG has thrown in the past would probably be:

Haven - Slayer
Haven - Extraction
Haven - Hill
Adrift - CTF
Adrift - Hill
Solace - CTF
Solace - Hill
Solace - Extraction
Abandon - Oddball
Abandon - Slayer
Abandon - Extraction

However, all these maps are setup to play the gametypes provided and I encourage trying them all out and finding out what works best for yourselves. Questions and feedback as always are welcome and please enjoy

TL;DR

Competitive Gametypes are available, use your file brower to search the Gamertag Yoseph is SiK and download them from there.

Also a tourney will be held online with these settings and prizes are involved.

I am also working with Yoseph to run 2 4 v 4 community tournaments. One for Europe, one for North America.

This tournament will be held in early/mid January. It will be one day only, and will have some super duper prizes. Entry will be free.

We will be using the Gold Pro settings (whatever they may be by early/mid December). So get your feedback in, and Yoseph will update the settings to make them play as well as possible, and to ensure the tournament can reach the potential it has.

Details of the tourney will be made next month. Go test!

The things I'm listing should have never made it past testing. 343 thought it was cool to mimic another game like bungie tried and failed like they did. I don't buy halo to play a wannabe cod game, I but it for halo.

When they patch the issues it's going to turn into reach with every playlist having different mechanics, which is stupid.

I always wonder why devs assume that the COD fans will actually stop playing COD or lessen their time with it for their COD wanna be game when it never happens.

i have been wondering this shyt since Reach came out. It's stupid to think a die hard fan base is going to to flock to a game where the core gameplay is nothing like COD because it has COD-like elements spread around it. Silly shyt.
