Same sound quality. All the M50s are good. I also recommend the Monoprice headphones for $30 if you on a budget. I'd say they're about 90%as good as the Beats Studio. I have both and put them side by side. Also they don't require batteries like the Beats do.

I hope you guys are using the USB ports for the DAC and not the sound AUX port. USB is much cleaner.

Yeah but that shyt is a hassle carrying all those wires around lol, I have used the USB port once while home. The AUX port still provides amazing sound, I might mess around with it later on today.

Yea, wires are annoying. LOL. I still think someone can make a killing by incorporating a DAC inside the headphones. Like the headphones would have a USB or Apple connector to plug directly into the phone. That'd be heavenly.

I just use a long miniUSB wire to USB OTG wire to my phone. The DAC sits in my back pocket so headphone wire and phone wire goes into the back pocket. It's not too cluttery that way.

I listen to a lot of bass heavy music mostly reggae, afro beats, reggae ton and hiphop.

Also love r&b and my beats drown out singers with lower registry like brandy.

Im more into clarity than something super base heavy.

But I'm greedy I'm want the best of both worlds :feedme:

I need clarity and something that can handle bass heavy songs.

Need my headphone to be able to handle all the trap music but subtle enough to let my mind wonder with some baby face.

I've been thinking about audio technica m50x but is there any other suggestions.

I tried the boss qc25 at best buys but they weren't base heavy enough for me .

Oh and of course i need something comfortable i can listen to for a couple hours in the gym and at home for extended hours .

TY for anyhelp

I have an iPod classic. The amp i posted is one of the bigger ones but it's still smaller than the classic. It comes with a band so you just band it to the classic.

My set up looks just like this:

I'm going to continue to rock the Sennheiser HD 202 II version. They hold me down so nicely.

Yo anybody have similar issues with their Beats Solo 2s where the left headphone just stops producing sound? I use it mostly to study and when I workout - this is the 2nd time i'm sending them in via my Apple warranty for replacement/repair!

Bought a pair of these on that amazing Prime day deal

-- if anyone has these, let me know if you have any concerns tips on maximizing the longevity on these. Thank you.

Also, wanted to just stop by and promote these BT earphones from Amazon prime:

-- They're dirt cheap ($14.99usd), the sound quality is phenomenal, the battery life is 7-8 hours on full use, the functionality to control volume, track forward/rewind and pause/play and picking up phone calls/hanging up is also amazing. My favorite thing is that these connect to two BT devices at the same time - so I'll be listening to something on my computer and still have them connected to my phone for calls and such.
**EDIT: completely forgot to mention that they still in the ear and I have issues of cables tangling throughout workouts, playing basketball or running. And they're so light, I can leave them in my ear for hours while studying and not have to adjust them even once

Gym wise, the only sensible options are these:

$50 CAD ON AMAZON

$25 CAD ON

If you want in home performance headphone with prestige sound and top of the line :

bose-soundlink-bluetooth-on-ear-headphone-product-photos06.jpg

$300 CAD

Or the bigger version with attached cord

The Bose joints I had a year ago and probably the best headphones I ever had (beats can't hold a candle to them). Too bad I lost them at the Gym :mjcry:
