question though...what happens to the medical students that dont get matched anywhere?? what do they do with their degree ? Do they even go to the ceremony?

If you don't match you can graduate, split your year and try to get more experience or pursue another degree.

About 1K a week before taxes, take home gonna be like 40 or so but I live with girl/ future wife (sorry coli ladies) who makes more than me so I'll be doing well

i thought folks in residency were struggling to make ends meet..you're making 4gs a month ..good loord..so what are docs in training always complaining about then??

anyway did you start feeling like a doctor yet ? They say the when you wear the white coat for atleast a few years you feel like a phony pretending to be a doc.

While you're in school yes, not while you're a resident.

Granted salary increases but...first 1-2 years are rough, especially if oyu're single.

My take home will be closer to 800-900 a week, and I'll prolly be paying like 100 or so in student loans.
You'll be struggling if you're trying to pay back loans in a timely matter, living in an expensive city or trying to ball on residents salary.
Half my loans aren't getting any interest the other half I can get out the way in the next 10 years.
