@Outlaw isn't wrong.
We have seen numerous atrocities in the world with unimaginable horrors across the world even in the last 35 years since the end of the Cold War.
Those were regional conflicts or civil wars. We saw genocides in Bosnia, Rwanda, Sudan, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. We saw Ethiopia against Eritrea. Somalia destroyed itself and became the biggest example of statelessness with famine and warlordism. Etc. Etc.
However, we have all of this in Gaza livestreamed daily. With it backed by the United States FULL STOP.
And the U.S. did a lot of bad stuff in Iraq and Afghanistan. But it was not systematically erasing the different Afghan peoples (Pashtun, Hazaras, Uzbeks, etc). Bush's invasion did lead to the sectarian catastrophe in Iraq in the 2000s between Sunni and Shia. But again, we didn't have U.S. troops aiming to erase groups in Iraq.
But this shid in Gaza is genocide. It is deliberate. Payback for October 7 to Hamas was achieved long ago.
