What our smart dummy doesn't realize is that the very existence of slavery was weaponized violence against the black person in America. Legalized theft, rape, abuse, extrajudicial killings, family trauma... That is violence. And the same is applicable for segregation and Jim Crow, apartheid in South Africa, apartheid and ethnic cleansing in Palestine...
