The R&B topic is so shortsighted. Do they honestly think Young MA is the type of rapper that knows about Snoh, Alex Isley, Lucky Daye, Steve Lacy, Brent Faiyaz, etc? You have to be somewhat familiar with the underground scene, or at least know someone who is, in order to hear those artists. That's the reason I kinda agree with her.
Which R&B artists are being pushed in the mainstream? Summer, H.E.R., Khalid, and that's about it. Ella Mai is probably working, Jacquees is inconsistent, CB is a legend act and doesnt count in my opinion, Ari gets play to an extent,....
Their Rap/R&B collab convo as well; the last big songs that I can think of are "Crew" and "LOYALTY".

maybe the one thread per episode was better.
this whole thread nothing but complaints. Y’all gotta relax every episode ain’t gonna be classic

Just Blaze Says Joe Budden's "Pump It Up" Was Originally About Masturbation
During an appearance on Sole Collector's Full Size Run, Just Blaze shared a humorous anecdote about Joe Budden's "Pump It Up." Speaking with co-hosts Trinidad James, Matt Welty, and Brendan Dunne, Just Blaze said the 2003 song, which he produced for Budden, was originally about masturbation.
"Do you know the original version of 'Pump It Up' was about masturbation?" Just Blaze said at the 2:16 mark. "You know how in the second verse he's like, 'My jump off doesn't care if I go out so much. My jump off...' Originally it was, 'My hand doesn't worry if I go out so much. My hand doesn't worry about... My hand...' That's a fun fact."
Joe nastyThe R & B Talk was expected since they all love that shyt and play it all the time. No acknowledgement of the vocal talent not playing a part at all. I mean some these nikkas and chicks can sing for sure but not like in the 90s![]()
