I will say, Mal looked fuming those first few minutes. couldn't even look at Joe.

the first 20 odd minutes was interesting.
Rory and Mal both using Parks as the soundboard to the audience

Mal started waffling after about 10 minutes and it got a bit



Joe barely paid attention to what Mal was saying till Mal alluded to people speaking about him and Jo had to interject.
After that Joe was looking at him like he didn’t believe a word coming out of his mouth.

I think what you were trying to say earlier was that Tax brought a completely different crowd to podcasting. And you’d be 100% right. Joe doesn’t get enough credit for his vision and got into podcasting right before the audience blew up but Tax was the one to blow it up. Before Tax, it was night shift nikkas like me, truck drivers and general nerds of super specific subjects who really fukked with podcasts. Tax brought the everyday nikkas into it and Joe captured a large part of that audience with his Drake rant, just as Tax started getting into legal trouble.
