Not wanting to split up the YouTube money when the podcast was the reason his channel got the boost in subscribers is asinine. The pod was still relatively small before they started doing video, now they’re over 400 and they didn’t see a dime?You know how much YT money brings in, especially when you post multiple times a week?
Pay the creators.

Its not that I “got it”. It’s that we need to have clear discussions about what we’re talking about. Joe is a massive dikkhead. I couldn’t and wouldn’t be friends with him. But when you go in knowing what you signed and how the splits are, you don’t worry about things out of your control.
Budden messed up by discussing business and behind the scenes moves so much with his fans. If he never started doing that I don't think yall would care this much. All the shyt this says they're quarreling about is regular behind the scenes contractual/money riffs, maybe not the exact details but pretty much...it's just in most cases these things stay behind the scenes and get worked out (or not worked out , and you get the "It was just time to move on, we all still love each other and talk all the time" thing). I don't think Budden is wrong here, outside of maybe being too personable, which is a quality in a field where your job is to make fans/listeners feel like they know you and you're their homie. Mal and Rory are Eric Snow and Aaron Mckey on them Philly teams Iverson was carrying to the playoffs/finals, it only worked because of Iverson, they developed some chemistry over time because that's natural but without Iverson they're back to being bums. Budden may lose some supporters...the ones who are way too overly invested in him and this show and feel a type of way...but most of the listeners, the ones just tuning in to be entertained and laugh, will stay with him.

I mean honestly, what did they create? Lol
They could have at least carved out niche on a particular topic.... Like Mal could have had a fashion or sports segment or Rory could have did something on making an album behind the scenes or something.... They brought nothing unique or fresh ideas to the pod.
They just come and sit down for 2 hours and respond to Joe...
