Joe is such :trash: man.

I knew it....shyt we all was talking about it when the Spotify deal fell through. We wondered how them other two niccas felt about it. That was probably when those two started making the screw face when it came to the money.

shyts funny... cause a few people here were arguing about how important ownership is and how joe is right and we dont know what we’re talking about etc.

It was obvious that Spotify deal was the beginning of the end fo the pod. Popping bottles for that Patreon deal was a nasty look, turning down triller...leaving your financial future in the hands of Joe Budden was a sure fire way to end up back at the drawing board.

I never would have figured mal and rory would have even gone into that Spotify deal without ownership but now it looks even worse. They were all paid employees this entire time and cool with it, now that rory got hit with that audit and lost dussepalooza he started to get desperate.

He better hope his white khaled album and emotional oranges shyt hit. Mal can go back to being a weed carrier I guess.

Ian with the obligatory “I’m underpaid and take pay cuts, out of respect for the artist but I still work hard cuz I see the future” cac manager talk :mjlol:

Ian knows damn well he’s properly paid :russ:
na i think that's more like shytty manager talk. how is Ian being paid exactly?

It took everything in the world for Joe not to call Rory a Culture Vulture. You could tell that's the direction he wanted to go in.

Joe also wanted to tell Rory he wasn't his slave...

I think the fact Rory has an album coming out without him being an actual artist is really pissing Joe off. ppl like joe always hate when one of their "lackeys" start having success on their own. Howard Stern is the exact same way. When any of his employees started getting fame and money on their own it was time for them to go [stuttering jon, Casey, etc...].

This has been an incredibly nasty rollout for Rorys upcoming album. Rory better go on every podcast he can to push this album because it ain't looking too good because he won't have the jbp platform to promote on.

I would love to know who wanted to beat Rory's ass? It had to be some random rapper or even r&b guy.
Howard Stern made everyone essential to that show millionaires. Said he ain’t doing his shyt without his crew. Joe is the opposite

"I negotiate for happiness not for money"

:stopitslime:

said he got millions on the table waiting with Akademiks.

I can see how it comes across but I don't have a problem with Parks attitude here.. its clear the hub is Ian - Parks - Joe.
as long as Joe good with Ian, Parks is Gucci. Parks play was the one that put them together.

Parks only seem annoyed when talking about how Mal expected everything to just stop.
and Joe wasn't happy with them coming to Parks house with a face and aggy. he saw it as disrespect to Parks.

Joe saying Rory and Mal were making as much as top broadcasters ? not jacking it.
said Mal and Rory been overpaid for years and said the chemistry been gone since the second year of Spotify.

Wait wait wait is this true ? :skip:

one of his demands apparently

Wait Rury and Mealy Mal wanted equity in the Spotify deal and YT revenue but they were getting paychecks instead :mjtf:

Doesn't Joe get furious at these companies for offering money and not equity :mjtf:

So he's doing to them what others are doing to him :mjtf:

Talk about a hypocrite :gucci:

His point is they were not owners and they didn’t deserve to be owners. They were employees. His feelings in this were stated clearly when he agreed with Khalid on the Ace Hood situation. Joes the creator, owner, ceo, etc. Mal and Rory are employees who were asking for too much. That’s his thinking. It’s not hypocritical, Joes just a dikk.
