Why is this so wild to people? Rory was there from very early on and helped build that podcast and didn't get paid for years.
To me the podcast is about Joe, Rory and Mal. Them podcasting together built that platform.
The show wasn't nearly as good with Marissa. Mal brought a spark, even if people no longer see it.
I don't think they should be even partners with Joe, but asking for partial ownership of a podcast that they helped build isn't crazy.

He had his points here and there, but in his own way he’s doing what the industry did to him lol this is very corny if these are your “friends” They don’t like not knowing the business so you fire them....and they can’t do any podcasts at all for a year or you’ll sue? He’s clearly never liked Rory like that

I have been in here over and over saying I mostly agree with joe in that he built the brand yes, but that doesnt take away from his moves hidding his books, not being honest with them, doing shady deals behind their backs- bro have you listened to him talk or preech for 5 years?

Idk man, i dont consider it shady to steer the direction of your business without consulting your emplyees at every move
