lets be real both were lazy..joe was running around doing 6 different things ..and u got roooori wanting to see the book. :comeon:
roori and MAL... getting paid over 100k for 6 hours of work
joe even tried to help him start a youtube page...mal could of easily got 100k subs

them two idiots fumbled the bag
EXACTLY! For them to repeatedly say podcasting wasn’t there passion while doing nothing else but podding for 4 years is insane to me. My question every time they would say that well then what is your passion? Cause they could have rode that momentum to launch whatever else they wanted to do and it doesn’t seem like they have anything else going on. They the types of people that just want to sit around and kick it with their friends everyday
I feel Joe Budden

These dudes want ownership of something Joe created.

I remember AK saying something and it resonated with me. Your employees will never care about the business as much as you do. You will do all the leg work and heavy lifting. Putting hours and hours in daily while your employees just clock out. All because you got a vision and you want this to work. You can tell who the worker bee nikkas and who are bosses. They don’t understand that. Also comes down to hiring the right people because in your head you wanna hire friends and family. Everybody got this thing in their head where they wanna get money with people they fukk with and love. Soon as your business start turning a profit is when the questions start coming up. It’s because they don’t see you as their boss, they still see as that friend or family member. In their head everything is 50/50 splits with the money. They don’t understand the overhead to operate the business daily or they don’t understand it take money to make money so if you ever wanna expand you gotta have the bread to do that or they don’t understand the rainy day fund for when your equipment broke or you got a leak in the ceiling or business slows down. It’s tough to understand unless you ever tried to start up a business. If a dude ever had his lawyers call me and want to audit my books. I’ll give em up no problem so you can see I been more than fair with you. But know once that phone call was made, our friendship is dead because you playing with my business. This is my livelihood. This how I feed my kids. I don’t play about that. It won’t be on no confrontational shyt. It will just be we got shyt to talk about, you go your way and I’ll go my way. It’s cool.

These dudes don’t get that, he showed them the books and as a result he no longer wants to do business with them. You out of line for even asking that question when all you are on the show is a B mic. Joe’s rants is what made that pod take off not there input or lack there of.
Whether is was his beef with drake
Airing out complex
Airing out Spotify
Beefing with CTG
Talking about his personal failures or just clowning his failed music career
Even the guests he was getting were the shows that did the most numbers.

Everything under the sun's been said at this point, so no point in jumping just in now with surface level reaction shyt. But I just have a question:

What do you really think is next, y'all aren't spending the time to talk about shyt that matters. Rory & Mal don't matter anymore outside of any legal cases that pop up, really look at what's left and ask yourself how you see this nikka moving going forward.

Y'all like them two old nikkas because you're old yourself, alright cool. How many years in until they start feeling that crunch of being properly paid for your time, you know like a basic employer/employee relationship or are they supposed to "know their roles" and realize that it doesn't matter how much you contribute, go on tour, help the brand grow you are the exact same dusty nikka that you were when you jumped on and you don't have a right to ask for shyt.

You nikkas sitting here "well he's always talked about creators, they weren't creators" more than likely don't have shyt and don't have ambition to ever get shyt, if you accept people getting walked over like that. IDGAF what you call it, Buddens wasn't talking to himself for 400 episodes. Even if you don't give ownership, break bread properly. This and that about "I gave them a raise without a deal" is irrelevant if it's money that should've been in their pocket in the first place. You not willing to show records shows that you were keeping from them the entire time, then have the audacity to hit record and say they were "overpaid", complete & total piece of shyt.

So what's really next for this "network" them old nikkas just gonna get scraps, the female show now know they ain't ever getting shyt and you'll get bad mouthed on the way out. The only people who will stay are those that'll suck farts out of that clubbed thumbed idiot's a$$hole like Parks, the other white boy, Savon, and the other guy they don't address by his name "Screenman".

You gonna have a network you need more than two shows, what talent that has options is signing up to be in this fukking network after today? You went on a public tirade against the biggest player in the podcast space, why would any of these other companies invest in you after seeing that. He's finished after this shyt today, it's a slow bleed from here on out. You Patreon subscription dunce cap nikkas can only do so much.

What’s next? joe will bring in Ish and Ice either full time or until he finds a permanent replacement, he will start some more shows on his network and he will continue to do his thing.. He did not need them, complex or Spotify

That’s why he is so comfortable airing them out. Ain’t nobody talked about complex since he left ES, Joe organ saved Spotify
This dude has made more money the past 4 years then he did in his entire rap career, why would this signal the end?

Hip hop is the best place to go to see how not to handle business

As for the network, its been a few months, they will continue to grow and once the world is fully open again joe will probably be doing more shyt on his network. To say that this killed it is ridiculous

Put it this way, this episode alone will be the most popular episode on patreon people will sign up just to hear what happened. Andrew Shultz makes 100k a month or something like that off patreon and his show ain’t as popular as JBP Joe will be fine

Norbes was present and heavily involved during the inception of the URL. Once they blew up, shyt got weird and Norbes was fired. Now he's suing the URL for 80 mil claiming he has ownership rights.
shyt didn’t get “weird”. Norbes got out of pocket and was doing shyt that could fukk up money for ALOT of people. It’s damn near exactly what happens with Rory and Mal.

Leave multi million dollar Spotify deal because they won't share metrics :hula:Fire cohost because they want to know deal details
Bro I’m fukking saying. This shyt is nuts. The hypocrisy is on another level. Joe comes off as one of the biggest hypocrites I’ve ever seen after this pod. I’m shocked these dudes had no equity. Let’s look at the JBP like it’s a startup, even tho joe is the most important player those dude definitely deserved a piece by now. And this dude preaches ownership? My goodness

Rory i can see, he leveraged a lot of the podcast fame and does a lot of stuff outside the podcast. Mal? He really was coasting. He doesn’t really seem to have a passion for anything, never got into music, management, sports, or whatever. Seems like he was just a long for the ride like everything else.

Mal should have been the most content with making 6 figures to do what he did.
