my last point. Rory has been a dikkhead about business for years. I will always remember him going on Drink Champs...he wasn't even a guest but they let him get on the mic. He proceeds to talk big shyt about Drink Champs numbers and their deal like he was fukking Barry Gordy. That display of arrogance and privilege never sat well with me. So this whole thing is ironic...

I understand both sides here.
Joe thinks Rory and Mal should have been happy with what they were paid as employees but Rory and Mal wanted an equity deal from the moment the podcast became more than some shyt they did for free.
Rory and Mal never went above and beyond what was expected of them, nor showed interest in helping build the network, but joe made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with a partnership deal between them so I can't say it's their responsibility to help grow a network they don't have equity in.
Joe was right when he said rory shouldn't have had a problem with Joe doing business with AK, but he sounds like a hypocrite because he literally fired marisa in a fukked up manner because of her business relationship with someone he didn't like.
Seems like Rory wanted to see the revenue so he'd know how much they would have been making with equity.
Joe isn't wrong for feeling like they don't work hard enough to own part of his business, but he looks like an a$$hole for doing essentially the same thing as these big corporations he rants about.

As much as Charla, Ak and Andrew roasted, they were all right. Hell, even Desus and Mero know how aggressive Joe is and they even made a joke about it from their episode 2 weeks ago.
