NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
If the writer of the show called in two more nikkas to help him write the show, and the new nikkas brought in slayer Kelly and Jessie, to save that show, yes.
That ain’t how it works chief. Lol. Doing ur job ur paid for well doesn't give u ownership rights. Never had and never will.

I’m legit confused. That white boy ain’t deserve ownership of anything. And neither did Mal. The nikka came in on the fukking 77th episode for Christ sakes. That’s damn near 100 episodes in. I’m not giving no one ownership of some shyt that we ain’t create together. That’s just crazy. U can be the greatest employee of all time at ur job. They ain’t finna give u a stake in their corporation cause of it. Lol. Da fukk? I don’t agree how Joe going about this because everything is a spectacle for him. He just does shyt the wrong way 24/7. Even with the way the Spotify shyt went down. Bottom line is this. Them nikkas was fine until Joe turned that deal down. They was SALTY about that cause they felt like they was gonna cash out on that shyt and that would’ve made them legit millionaires. Joe dubbed it and they didn’t have no say and it ate at them and kept on eating at them. That’s the type of shyt that happens when ur an employee and not a boss tho. U don’t get to make those types of decisions. They thought they were bosses for whatever stupid reason. They should’ve def established themselves outside of the Joe Budden shyt or atleast had their own shows associated with his network. As like a branch off type shyt. They didn’t play the hands they were dealt very well.

The Coli is bizzaro world sometimes.

Joe Budden says that artists should create and own their own platforms.

Joe Budden creates his OWN platform

Joe Budden employs two of his homies. Gives them a chance they wouldn’t have had anywhere else

Joe Budden’s homies want ownership of something they DID NOT CREATE

Coli calls Joe Budden a hypocrite for not giving two people ownership of something they DID NOT CREATE.

There’s a real breakdown in common sense when it comes to this place…

agreed

Joe has a certain vision in his head of what he’s trying to do, that no one probably understands. That’s okay that’s how it usually goes.

Rory & Mal don’t care about podding, the network, etc. They’re just trying to cash out.

Their goals don’t align, therefore sharing ownership would be silly.

Joe seemed oblivious why Mal chose Rory’s side when it’s pretty easy to see. Neither agree with Joe’s business decisions.

lol at Joe trying to encourage Mal to get a sports show or dating show. Do you really think this nygga Mal wants to do any extra work?:mjlol:That nygga trying to cash out.

There's a lot of boss and business talk in here from people that don't understand business, never built one or been a boss.

Y'all getting lost in the pill head's talking points and missing the forest for the trees. Companies can be usually be broken down into 3 parts :

  • Production - directly responsible for the creation of the business product or service. Possibly have equity in company depending on IP, founding member, etc
  • Sales - responsible for marketing and selling the product in order to generate revenue. Usually works for base salary + comission
  • Operations - responsible for supporting production and sales by providing logistics and other tasks/services so that the business can function. Generally salaried or hourly workers.
Parks and them are clearly Operational workers but Rory and Mal are production and possibly sales as well. It just doesn't make sense to think it's ok for them to work without access to metrics because they are most likely receiving points off the package.

Again, I'm not sure how many of you have ever worked before (I know everyone is a crypto millionaire or 6 figure certified boss) but it's normal for certain employees to sit in on budget meetings. There should always be more than one person with access to the financial information.

Joe got it twisted like he's a fortune 500 company but he's making glorified LLC Twitter moves. The lines are beyond blurred and he's talking like it's a sole prop and doesn't owe anything to anyone. We don't know anything without looking at the incorporation paperwork but it's still bad business nonetheless.

The Joe defenders are missing the key point....Joe has been preaching about giving back ownership to the creators and making everything fair.

His co-hosts who built this platform with him have backed him all the way, but turns out they're being treated the same way Joe was preaching against.

How you guys can not understand this is ridiculous, do you even listen to the show? lol

This is what I'm sayin'... nobody really has a reason outside of not liking Joe to support why they feel Mal and Rory were entitled to some piece of it, when they didn't do any of the actual work that went into it. They literally got paid to come thru and shoot the shyt with their homeboy for a few hours a week. Now AS A FRIEND, I don't know if Joe is that great. But when it comes to this podcast, how could Rory ever believe he was gonna audit Joe and still be on the show? If I had been Joe, Rory woulda been gone from the moment he started talkin' about hands. And then there's Mal, who barely even contributes as a voice on the show... why does anyone think these two have been done dirty when it comes to the podcast?

Y'all perspectives on this is weird. The revenue that this show brings in is based on Joe, Mal and Rory talking. That's where the money comes from. Giving Joe all that credit is silly. I always thought that they were partners, until Joe started talking about the business.
Here's another thing, that podcast generated a lot of money. Enough money where everyone got paid and Joe is trying to fund an entire Network from the money that their podcast generates.
I think that was Rory's point, he doesn't care about a podcast network. Why is revenue from their show going to fund a network of podcasts? How much money is 'their' show really generating? Seeing how this all went down it's probably more than they were told.

But without paperwork, none of that matters.
Ok fine,that’s true

but people cant take not one thing he says seriously from this point on

he tried to make himself to be the voice of the creator ..That shyt is beyond dead .

How can be the head of equity but refuse to give equity ....especially when other podcasts have :dead:

This man ranted about Clubhouse not giving him equity ...but is out here doing worse to his people

This nikka thought he could get Spotify to open their books and analytics to him when they were already a Billion dollar company before he showed up

He talked shyt about Brilliant Idiots and their network while they are moving the way Joe was faking like he was doing

fam comes off looking like a clown

He would’ve been 1000% better just putting ice and Ish on,say a few words and keep it moving But he HAD to jump out the window first because who knows what the other two will come out saying

What makes Joe more of a creator in the context of the podcast tho? Ya'll laugh and argue with each other for 3 hours. That's the extent of the creativity. Mal and Rory got funny moments compilations on youtube just like you do. The idea that Rory and Mal aren't creators is some Joe logic bullshyt.
