There's a lot of boss and business talk in here from people that don't understand business, never built one or been a boss.
Y'all getting lost in the pill head's talking points and missing the forest for the trees. Companies can be usually be broken down into 3 parts :
- Production - directly responsible for the creation of the business product or service. Possibly have equity in company depending on IP, founding member, etc
- Sales - responsible for marketing and selling the product in order to generate revenue. Usually works for base salary + comission
- Operations - responsible for supporting production and sales by providing logistics and other tasks/services so that the business can function. Generally salaried or hourly workers.
Parks and them are clearly Operational workers but Rory and Mal are production and possibly sales as well. It just doesn't make sense to think it's ok for them to work without access to metrics because they are most likely receiving points off the package.
Again, I'm not sure how many of you have ever worked before (I know everyone is a crypto millionaire or 6 figure certified boss) but it's normal for certain employees to sit in on budget meetings. There should always be more than one person with access to the financial information.
Joe got it twisted like he's a fortune 500 company but he's making glorified LLC Twitter moves. The lines are beyond blurred and he's talking like it's a sole prop and doesn't owe anything to anyone. We don't know anything without looking at the incorporation paperwork but it's still bad business nonetheless.
