You can say anything on the internet, lol at you thinking I'm about to divulge my personal finances and business dealings to a complete stranger on the internet, a place full of liars:mjlol:

If you think a company OWES equity to every person that works for it then i doubt youve gotten a single business to the point of a profitable IPO

Youre the one that passive aggressively insulted people you dont even know because those people know the value of building your own shyt and NOT giving it out to your detriment because "friends"

You can’t tell me anything you’re doing of value so you accuse me of lying :mjlol::mjlol: when you’re the one who called me lazy :mjlol:

There’s nothing passive aggressive about what I’m doing, you called me lazy and piggybacking off others like you know me (:what:) so I asked you directly what you’ve owned or built and you went quiet as a church mouse. I’m no CEO, but I’ve had equity in my last 3 companies (cashed out on the last 2 exits you wouldn’t understand) and I work with startups everyday who have similar equity sharing plans w/ their employees. One of us knows how equity works and the other doesn’t. Just know who you’re talking to before you fix those dikk suckin lips of yours to pop slick.

The fact that you think the 1 singular person who came up with an idea or venture is the only person who deserves ownership, shows me that you’ve never been a part of a real venture or company that distributes equity to members of the team. Any company worth its weight in salt doesn’t grow by the work of just 1 person.

The same applies to this podcast. You think it woulda got popular enough to do live tours and a Spotify deal, if it was just Joe screaming into a mic with Parks nodding? It’s no wonder you think Joe deserves 100% ownership, you don’t know any better cause you’ve never experienced it.

If you’ve never gotten the direct deposit from SRS Acquiom post-exit then you can’t talk to me about this. Enjoy your weekend! :russ:

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
What small business gives its employees equity?

In 2018, the most recent year for which data is available, 252 new ESOPs were created, covering more than 31,000 participants.

In total, there are approximately 6,501 ESOPs in the United States, holding total assets of over $1.4 trillion. The number of unique companies with an ESOP is approximately 6,272 (a company may sponsor multiple plans.

CALI
But at that point he should have been putting effort into his OWN stuff right?

He didn't even do that
You're right, they both should have been working on their own platform outside of Joe the moment they realized things weren't what they thought it was when they joined.

I still feel like they have a decent argument for why they deserve a small piece of equity. I understand Joe not wanting to give that up, but he's dead wrong for painting the narrative that this was some attempt at a hostile takeover.

Rory was doing shyt for the podcast, putting in effort to bring in revenue, making drops, doing the title art, and showing up before Joe ever promised him a dime. I feel like Joe saying he didn't ask Rory to do anything for him was to brush all that shyt away and make it seem like Rory was a backstabber from the beginning, like dude wasn't really just doing any of that shyt because they were friends.

It’s ok we both know you read it :wow: Now get your weight up and enjoy your weekend. Nobody should funnel equity related talks to you that’s established
