Wasn't the only thing he said that he didn't want a Hov-Elect album? Which I agree.
I don't know how anyone can defend the production on that album. It's mid at best, completely undeserving of an album like this.
And while Jay Elect wasn't bad per se, did he have any verses that could even compare to some of his great ones in years past? Forget Exhibit C, nothing on the album can even hold a candle to his guest verse on Chance's How Great.
Jay elect has no energy on album either. He’s so monotone on every single verse
I know every album “came and went” these days buts it’s nothing on this album that people will be replaying weeks from now

Joe spent 10 minutes trying to pick apart a song that Jay Elec put in an IG post saying he didn't think the song sounded good and wouldn't want to hear it sampled.
As far as I know, the song wasn't sampled on the album.
Joe has a valid point about this needing to be a Jay Elec solo album, but sometimes he harps on the weirdest things.
Joe still eats swine like it’s going out of style, Parks and Rory are white, and Mal paints his nails. Jay Elec’s album was definitely not made for them to like

Somebody probably already responded to this. But Joe doesn't hate Jay E. He hates that Jay can literally sit on his ass for a decade and people still hold him up to be this God tier MC. Now is he? I don't know. I've only listened to Exhibit C before I listened to this album. I liked the album, but it felt more like a joint album with Jay Z and felt a little underwhelming.
Edit: Coming back to this, it kind of reminds me of his Control verse. shyt just seems "lazy" with Jay E.
