Them niccas just broke a 6 figure brick down (at least) off of a 1hr one-off my g. Bringing in what it take most 1 year to make in 1 hr. As much as them niccas get on niccas nerves from time to time podcast related, I think they gonna be alright financially lol.

They're going to be fine.

The industry is going to back them up at this point....I heard a kevin hart interview shouting them out.

And I believe they have a big enough audience to profit. And I'm sure they'd do ads.

They might not be as big as Budden but I wouldn't count them out.

He has no CFO just accountants...He tried to scale his busines but didn't realize how much it would cost. Rory and Mal are profit partners AFTER expenses but they don't pay any of the expenses. I can see how this annoyed Joe but they signed a contract when they werent UP they then became UP and Joe should of waited it out the contract that is...Give them salary plus bonuses or a smaller profit partner %...

If they get paid off profits after expenses then they technically do pay for expenses.

It seems like Joe runs his podcast as inefficiently as possible. There's no reason he needs to pay 4 different people to do editing, uploading, and whatever screenman does. Podcasting is not very expense, what was Joe doing wrong where he has this high overhead cost just for a podcast?

He should have been bringing in millions a year before the spotify deal with how big the podcast was, but dude is so bad at business he failed to consider revenue streams.

I never watched one full episode of jbp but this whole fiasco brought me some entertaining moments like Akademiks straight obliterating ruurry and mealy mal, mal and rury rising from the dead and getting the public back on their side and joe screaming on empty chairs

Then Joe was salty at a contract he signed and didn't want to wait another year to re negotiate.. (He said their contract was for another year on his live...Thats on him though if he chose to expand thats on him...) Mal and Rory helped get the JBP to where it was if it got too big in joes eyes and the % share was too much then you gotta wait till contract is over or talk to your boys to help out with mroe expenses. He handled it real bad...Its a long life they had it...
