The difference between now and his other bounce backs in my eyes is that people got to see both sides of the equation in the situations with Rory & Mal and Olivia. In the past all we got was Joe’s versions of events where he’d paint himself as a sympathetic figure. Now we all got to see Joe’s ego and narcissism at work and how he’ll lie to spin situations in his favor. Like you said he can’t deflect and blame others when we all see it playing out and how avoidable it all was.

It’s just crazy to me because I’m starting think None of this happens if Joe doesn’t mismanage that Spotify money


It’s obvious that the Spotify deal was the most money Joe has ever seen and as person that only cares about tricking, strip clubs and wearing ugly clothes he went crazy with that money


The more I think about it, the whole JBN was a facade to cover how he fukked off Rory and Mals money. He went into negotiations with Spotify with an agenda to make Rory and Mal whole and when Spotify didn’t give him more that what he needed, he blamed Spotify and lied to R&M. Joe never gave thought to having a network until the Spotify negotiations fell through. He needed more product to leverage


This is also why he needed to give everyone a raise after Spotify fell through because he was using old label tricks of gifting cars so people want focus on the Money being fukked off

I still say Joe saying he’s wearing all Zara 2 pods ago was very enlightening even if it was joke, A nikka wearing designer everyday for the past 5 years shouldn’t never have the words Zara come out of his mouth

Joe flew too close to the sun. He’s made a ton of awful business decisions and put himself in scandals that most wouldn’t have survived. Somehow he survives and then makes even worse decisions. Insane

IF he’s smart, he should call up Funk Flex, let off a crazy freestyle discussing all his problems and use that as a rollout to whatever he plans on doing with the podcast.

Rory and Mal numbers can’t be legit can they?

They have 200k subscribers and get half a million views each video on average and a good amount of comments. Take into account that alot of people listen to podcasts in sections which adds to the view count.

The numbers seem legit but its still early.

And going by what they said about the spotify deal, if they didnt want sell thier likeness and brand over a couple mil, then i can rock with that. Thats having morals and standard.

But it does seem the walls are closing. I think olivia is suing him. Meh numbers. Weird rants. And i think his cohost are already starting to dislike how he talk to em.

Now if Joe was going to make Rory and Mal whole on the re up and Spotify thought the podcast was the same value or less value then the first deal then Joe needed to bring more to the table.

What he had to offer up was Mal’s master class (), Rory’s album() and a cut or advertising around the live shows

He said it wasn’t a factor, but seeing Rogan and Bill Simmons get their deals absolutely had an effect on how Joe dealt with Spotify.

Now dude out here shytting on YouTube only to realize how dumb that is and come back even if he’ll have to deal with Rory & Mal doing better at the moment.

I think Joe was either lying or over exaggerating when he said spotify wanted ownership of everything from joe rory and mal. If that's true then Joe is literally the only person who would have had to give up ownership to stay with spotify.

I'm thinking Joe went in wanting Spotify to give him extra money and he'll build a full network and they hit him with the "so what". That's why Joe ranted so much about them not seeing his vision.
