I can see Joe being annoyed by her doing that. If you paid attention to side comments they made while Mel was there it appears that Joe saved her financially by bringing her on the pod.

She probably wouldn’t be suing for sexual harassment. It would more likely be for hostile workplace and/or gender related lawsuit.
