last episode when Joe let Mal take the lead on the Jay Elec album the start of his breakdown was painful. he never sounded sure of himself like they were his actual beliefs at any point and it came across so bad it made Parks one word replies sound more condescending that they what they were.
Mal: "it was like an audiobook....but with, but with music"
Parks: "Sure."
Joe easy. granted MM2&3 are his only works of note and they haven't aged well for me but he's way nicer a rapper. despite me disliking his beat selection, the way he would use his voice with a certain delivery.
Royce had an elite flow around Bar Exam 1 and that was it. he seemed to have lost it on that last thing I listened to of his which was prolly the second album he put out with DJ Premier. i've never been particularly impressed with him and his music is awful.

Because they have given us enough content that they are allowed to have projects that don’t live up to the hype

You'd be surprised how many dudes don't wash up regularly because of that way of thinking. One of my homeboys from back in the day said he didn't wear lotion because that's"bytch shyt" for example.

Depending on the topic, Joe in the 200-300+ episode range has grown more and more PC, with the more industry connections hes established.Biased yes. But did you just call Joe PC?
The trickbag is that he spazzes out on safe targets/topics just to make it look like hes unfiltered.

I don't care about that, art is art. You can't change views because one person has more longevity. That's inconsistent and contradictory.
Let's say X has been a painter for 10 years and gave you 2 great paintings. Then comes along Y, who has been a painter for 1 year with no great painting. And let's then say painter X splashes the color green on a white canvas and you say "That's art, I can't critique it" and painter Y does the same thing but you go "This is TRASH", you're being inconsistent. It's either all art or some is or some isn't. You can't change it to fit your narrative.

By producing work
No it's not always the case but I'm not going to respect a nikka who just put out his first fukking album
Last two episodes have been better than some of the recent ones
