The Pod will be fine.... Parks seems more comfortable too. He’s laughing more and all that. Haven’t seen him like that in weeks. These dudes had an issue and hashed it up... it was dramatic as fukk but hey. Glad to see ‘em back. Ice had a pod... he ain’t that good at it. That’s not his lane for real.
Did you listen to the pod today after they hashed out their differences? Mal was doing the same repeating himself, not comprehending anything past surface level and choking the life out of convos

whatever Ice is as a podder is infinitely better than Mal

And Rory was doing the same overcompensating for being white by trying to kill Bieber for having dreads

Joe don’t respect nobody that’s not separate and or richer than him

yup!

joe is one of those "I got it out of the mud and so should you. if you can't get it as I did or need me to assist you in any way -- I don't respect you."

A lot of "self-made people" think this way. the most fukk up part is when some of those ppl treat their kids with the same disdain.

LOL @ Joe.

Mal: I never thought I'd see the day you'd look me in my face and tell me this is none of my business.

Joe: Is it your business in the contract we have?

30 seconds later

Joe: You're not talking to a nikka that's talking about contracts.

This how he be fukkin up broads like Kaylin or Cyn's head lol.

Absolute nuisance :mjlol:

35 minutes in and I had to stop and point out again...yall see this man is a sociopathic narcissist right. Rory starts out with a personal, introspective view on things, how he felt, what he thinks, etc. Mal starts out with a personal, introspective view on things, how he felt, what he thinks, etc. Joe's turn to speak...and he immediately says he doesn't know why anyone is mad and then casts himself as a victim. You see this right?

I maintain that Rory and Mal are bums but at the same time I hope they realize after all this...this guy is not your friend. Truly. He only cares about himself.

I wrote this under the youtube

They are all right... Mal being the most real as usual. They all had valid points. I can see why Joe is mad though too on the other end... he runs the show and his name is on the line, like he said all bad news comes back to him every single time....even when other people do the harm. What should have happened like they said a few times, Rory and Joe should have spoke with someone to step in the middle. Joe had a valid point being the boss flexing his decision making... which I actually do agree with. IF IT WORKED AND MAL KEPT PODDING I CAN SEE HOW THAT WOULD HAVE FORCED RORY'S HAND INTO A SIT DOWN.... while also giving Joe a quick reign on the situation. I 100% agree.... Mal got roped in the middle by just being real. I would rather be Joe and I've been a fan since Clue Tapes... but in Mal's position, I'm him too.... I wouldnt want to show negative energy to my co-host by passing him by like that. HONESTLY... this all played out healthy and perfect even though it took longer and people have different ideas. Everyone came to a middle passage in their own way of winning. All 3 situations are very different and being in each of them would make you choose a different path. I do think Joe is the most right by thinking in terms of the contract and the bigger picture. But Mal and Rory are right too, it shows how healthy they all actually are... because Mal or Parks is too middle grounded to mediate. Someone in the room even beyond them should have took Rory and Joe.... blew the shyt up in their faces and let them know they need to fix this shyt before it spirals. Neither want to be accountable during that, but a resolution should have happened during one of the last shows, before he asked Rory to "take a few weeks off" They call that a director, right now they are too cool and friends to need or follow a "director" I salute that though, that shows they are actually out of eachothers way for the most part. Parks or Mal will never step on toes or force confrontation "Libra style as Parks said lol" If I was in the room I'd force them nikkas to work that shyt out.... it would start with Rory speaking his mind during that time period clear to Joe... and then reeling Joe back and making him understand that the feelings conveyed arent to cause harm, but further understanding. Sometimes the tension isnt broken by the two with the tension and everyone else tries to ignore it. Easier said than done though.

Imo the pod should go on with Ish and Ice instead. They might say they are friends but the way Joe talks to them sometimes is nuts. I don't agree with Mal on alot but I'm with him on this. This is why I don't do business with friends. Lines eventually get crossed.

Joe is a top tier manipulator. He literally doesn’t see that he has done anything wrong, insanity.
Any nikka that's your homie that says he don't owe you respect is a nikka you shouldn't be with period. If Rory and Mal do decide to stay on the podcast all that friendship shyt would be out the window and it has to be business going forward.
Absolutely. There’s no way you can talk disrespectfully like that to your “friends” and expect them just to accept that from you. Doesn’t even feel like they talked it out prior to recording.

Just listening to Mal in the beginning and you can tell he’s :mjcry:

I’m not in their business or friendship :hubie: but Mal wanting Joe to “shut it down” until they figure it out :camby:

You can tell the difference between Joe who is trying to be a media owner/entrepreneur/entertainer whatever, and Mal who is a hypebeast who believes his own mystique.

Joe delivered and Mal just has sour grapes :mjlol:

The disrespect. If I'm Mal and Rory I bounce for good after this episode.
:yeshrug:

IF they stay they're hoes.

I think them coming back proves that this is their main source of income. If this was just some side shyt then there’s no way you can come back after someone talks to you like that

I watched some more, didn’t finish but brehs. If this is how he talks to them face to face, imagine what he’s saying to Diddy, Steve Stoute, and the other rich dudes he worships in DMs/texts/calls. That first hour that I saw boiled down to: I’m not really your friend, I’m your boss, I owe you nothing, I did nothing wrong, and I don’t need you because the show goes on.

No self respecting man could sit through that and think ok I’m cool with this person. Leave. Now. And like you said the fact that they’ll be back next week shows us that this is their livelihood. This is how Mal is paying for that new apartment.
