I don't think, from what we saw on the pod, that Rory nor Mal have a problem with Joe being the head of the show/pod/business.

But that doesn't mean that Mal and Rory feel like the show is "none of their business". Mannie, and Juve would not feel like CMR was "none of their business". And to be told that by the labelhead, after being their throughout, is disrespectful. As is being suspended via text emoji.

That’s some heat of the moment shyt and I don’t believe joe completely believes that. I think Rory and mal know that to. You don’t go 5 years being successful with one person believing that the pod entirely is none of the others business. They would have folded a long time ago. Joe is a a$$hole and the suspension thru text is disrespectful.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Mal ignorant af. Joe the boss. Rory fukking up the pod bringing the bs to work. Joe had every right to tell to take a break. Mal n Rory or at most Mal think he something he not.
The beef between Rory and Joe is on a friendship level.

Rory was definitely wrong for brining that shyt to work, but Mal wasn't wrong for trying to get them to resolve it. Especially since their relationship as friends is a major part of the show's success

What a lot of people are ignoring is that Joe has, for years, on his creator bullshyt, advocated against the bullshyt he's pulling now.

Yes, as the majority owner of the podcast he technically doesn't owe anyone anything. But imagine next episode him coming out swinging for the "creators" after publicly disrespecting two people who contributed to the current status of the product.

And in business, when has it ever been cool to shyt on your employees? You're entitled to, but what does that gain you in the long run?

nah, many people pointing out how hypocritical joe is - only people ignoring it are dikkheads like nap - but nap is an entity of spammers and not a person, anyway.

You can call him a Joe D rider or whatever, you have to give it to Parks. He knows his role and stick too it.

He don’t give a fukk about that equity or “we built this together” shyt. :mjlol:

Dude said I’m trying get this steady check, ain’t no shutting shyt down because y’all in your feelings:mjtf:

Parks will ride with Joe because he knows with any production Joe has, Parks will handle all the audio shyt. I didn’t even know Joe had him doing SOTC. :ehh:

Joe definitely respects Parks and knows how valuable he is to the pod and his brand. Parks stays in his lane and is content with that. He was also in charge of the technical audio during they’re live tours too. Parks share a lot of the same view points but Parks unlike Mal and Rory has a backbone and has his audio engineering skills and connections to fall back on. Joe knows that he cant pull that shyt on him.

I think we started fukkin with Mal based off at how terrible Marisa was but I do miss her getting shytted on by Rory and Joe constantly lol but Mal is nothing more than a social lite/influencer that has connections because of his older brother. All of his takes are trash especially his sport takes..

When talent becomes management/owner they become enlightened to the other side of business.

See Jordan....player to owner.
Jim Jones....Max B
Lil Wayne....Drake/Nicki
Jay Z .....Def Jam president

Creatives can become the things they professed to hate or fought against. Sometimes its malicious, other times the artist just didn't understand business.

Mal honestly shouldn’t be there…his whole “I’m too cool to be doing a podcast” steez is detrimental to the quality of a podcast, funny enough….the only thing he’s ever brought to the table is the allure of being an “insider” and the dynamic of him and Joe as friends…if the latter has been damaged to the point they’re not even really friends anymore and all we’re left with is his smart dumb nikka takes presented with the demeanor and attitude of a 17 year old working a fast food job on Saturday night (basically making it obvious that they don’t want to be there), he brings nothing…his other homies are clearly better in Mal’s spot…

None of them nikkas were friends before the money though. That's what makes Joe look like a POS.

I think Mal's argument over Joe telling Rory to take time off is that it's a decision that should be ran by everyone to get all inputs first because it's a decision that effects the chemistry of the podcast. He wasn't mad that Rory had to take time off, and rory seemed like he agreed that he needed the time. Mal was mad that Joe told him it's none of his business when he questioned him because he feels like they have a long friendship and he helped build the podcast.

They don't understand that it's really just business for Joe, he doesn't need or care about anyone he can't use to reach a new level.

Podcast is better with ice and ish, Now Joe knows for sure moving on from Rory and Mal wouldn't hurt his brand in any meaningful way, and he's not afraid to tell them that he doesn't give a damn about their grievances and they get no respect from Joe.

That’s why I say that it would’ve been better if all 3 parties would’ve parted ways because the chemistry won’t ever be the same before the success and money came into play. Joe done elevated and his thinking as a businessman instead of true friend which Mal can’t seem to grasp.

Joe shytted on Mal and Rory so many damn times and will continue to do so..shyt he already did on this EP. If Mal was really about principles, he wouldn’t subject himself to that and he realizes that he’s not gonna get the respect he looking for.

Ish and Ice were potential liabilities as new raw podders.

Rory and Mal were safer even if yall found much to be desired.

I tbink Joe is aware of this.

With the pod with Ish and Ice that could potentialky have Joes platform associated with the redpill misogynistic label however unfair.

Part of his brands value to investors or other stakeholders is that JBP is fresh and new.
The old guy hot takes while interesting or refreshing to some of us is potentially bad biz.

Entertaining the likes of Kevin Samuels and his crowd is Not fukking good for the brand no matter how much you agree with him.

Joe my guy. But the shyt he pulled with Rory is a big lol

Rory was clearly joking about fighting

I been listening to the pod since day 1. Rory only joked like that because Joe has threatened to fight everyone on the pod lol. One of the running gags is Joe getting up in Mal face telling him we gon fight lol

I think comments had Joe aggy by saying Rory could whoop his ass.

Honestly the books and decisions at the label would be none of juvie or mannies business that’s baby and slims label.
I think a more appropriate comparison would be if baby told juvie that mannie fresh or lil Wayne couldn't be on his album because they needed to be put on time out, then said it's none of his business when Juvie asked why.
