JBP is the equivalent urban version of Howard Stern. Joe is Stern, Mal is co-host Robin Quivers and Rory is Baba booey aka Gary.Mal honestly shouldn’t be there…his whole “I’m too cool to be doing a podcast” steez is detrimental to the quality of a podcast, funny enough….the only thing he’s ever brought to the table is the allure of being an “insider” and the dynamic of him and Joe as friends…if the latter has been damaged to the point they’re not even really friends anymore and all we’re left with is his smart dumb nikka takes presented with the demeanor and attitude of a 17 year old working a fast food job on Saturday night (basically making it obvious that they don’t want to be there), he brings nothing…his other homies are clearly better in Mal’s spot…
Imagine Baby telling Mannie Fresh and Juvenile that CMR is none of their business.

Whole situation reminds me of this

I don’t think they own any part of it. Think it’s mostly contractsRory and especially Mal have transitioned from friend to employee and they don't know how to act.
Mal thinks he should be consulted when Joe, the business owner and majority shareholder decides to put an employee on time out? Mal thinks that Joe, the majority share holder should consult with him about any deals that come across the table?
Idk what their contracts are but I don't think Mal or Rory own 33% of the podcast so they aren't privy to that sort of stuff. Parks doesn't either but as a person whose worked for other ppl for years, knows his role.
Yeah Joe is an aloof, narcissistic POS but this podcast is his creation and investment and it's his to do with as he pleases.
