Budden got the same attitude and principles as the IG thots he dates. Not shocking he always gets offended when nikkas trash the types of chicks be attracts and fukks cause it hit close to home

I think Mal/Rury with Joe shyt has run its course. I'd be shocked if they were still podding by the end of the summer let alone the year. Joe asking if they'd be guests every now and then on a pod with him/Ice/Ish was telling. Mal def lost a lot of respect for Joe and prolly think he a ho now or always did but that was his mans before this whole shyt. Rury is just a typical cac saying just enough to feel like how own individual but playing up to his boss to secure his position

And nikkas don't wanna admit it but Ak was right again about they whole dynamic and Budden basically said a lot of what Ak did just in a more respectful tone

Mal said more in this Ep than in the last 5 Eps he was on combined, and at the same time didn't say fukking anything at all :francis:

"It's all about respect" 10000x. You can tell he has spent nearly his entire life in a bubble :comeon:

Okay Tony Montana, here's your respect. Now go sit your chubby gay ass in the corner and paint your nails :mjlol:

Overall though, this is easy to decipher why shyt went left. They all have a completely different view of their roles.

Joe looks at the pod as just business, he's the boss and they are workers.

Mal looks at this as 3 friends who matter equally and are in this together.

Rory knows Joe is the boss and he's a worker, but thinks their friendship entitles him to cross the line sometimes. Like a kid trying their parents to see how much they can get away with.

As long as in their homotional 7 hour pow-wow they worked shyt out to get on the same page and establish what the roles actually are, they can move forward. But if Mal and/or Rory still feel spicy about it, shyt will go left again fast.

Joe started this pod like 3 or 4 years ago. I remember Mal being there smoking joints. I also remember Mal from the JBTV/BlogTV days this is like 08/09/010 type shyt. He been rocking with Joe for years and always been a loyal friend.

The thing is. Joe built this JBP thing and everything with it,yes.

Only thing I think Mal was trying to say was that he also helped built this house. Build the pod and became an essential part of that, and they wanted to be included a bit more. But they needed to been understand this is Joe’s thing and this is only a stepping stone to get their name out and build they’re own shyt, cuz Joe not thinking like that.

He don’t want y’all input or making decisions with him on his vision and his shyt.

This is a sensitive topic and Joe mishandled this with them, and it’s almost disrespectful how he dealt with it. For Joe it’s like “The audacity of these nikkaz” But in reality these your friends, real homies “allegedly”. You needed to deal with this differently with a more delicate approach. These to nikkaz for real you respect them.

Respect is the biggest thing, people die over that shyt. Say suck my dikk to the wrong mothafukka in traffic and they could be your last words.

Mal need to see it for what it is, take the new fame he got from this and try to do his
own lil thing.

Maybe a weed smoking show with guests he could interview. He connected heavy, has popularity because of the podcast, and can do his own shyt if he wants.

fukk taking bullshyt from Joe. It’s a two way street. If Joe can be good without them who helped him with the podcast in the beginning. So can they.

they just need to boss up and not be bytches. This is a choice, no victims.

Charla started with subs then Schulz went innnnn.:russ: The funny thing is Brilliant Idiots of both of their hobby and its not too far away from JBP, they both have huge other shows and careers. Joe is an easy target for these jokes

"Respect" is often confused with "Appreciation". Disrespect is maddd distinctive, lol...it doesn't require a "Do you respect me or nah?"... it's clear when someone doesn't respect you. Of course he Respects you...you're only questioning it because he pulled rank and made a Boss decision, which he is entitled to do as the boss. That's not disrespect...you felt unappreciated...the way he not only pulled rank and told yall to go sit down somewhere for a while, but then replaced yall...despite all the "work you put in" to build this...together.

In a business setting, your worth determines your appreciation, there are levels. Obviously they thought they were worth more than they were. Those guys have more value and worth in Budden's world as friends than business associates...he appreciates them a 100x more as friends. That is what he wants to say to them, I don't think he knows how to.

You ever been with a chick and it hit that point where you didnt really care if the relationship ended? Like you werent at the "Its over!" point but its whatever...you dont really care passionately anymore and would actually rather just be friends...but she isnt there tho, she still cares deeply. It makes you feel fukked up. That's what this seems like, Budden doesnt really care if they leave or stay, he just doesnt want to break their heart and say let's just be friends, haha.

Idk what was crazier, mal and Rory talking in circles about not "abandoning" the pod until joe was like "fine, let's ask saving, Alex, the lawyers, etc" what would have happened if y'all didnt come back or ice/ish didn't fill it or mal seriously believing Joe was in the wrong for bringing Ice/Ish on and continuing the show.

They knew the impact of them leaving for 6 weeks. It just obviously backfired and did so publicly, so they felt stupid as fukk

Lets also not forget that Mal, and his so called “ contribution” can be overplayed at this point. There were many episodes homey will be on his phone most of the time as joe and rory would carry the show.

great content though for now at least.

I don't see Mal and Rory staying longer than their "contract" :yeshrug:

And I'm not seeing Mal and Rory looking "stupid". Take away the Kevin Samuels episode, and YT views are "down". You never look stupid when you stand on your values. I totally agree with Mal - from Joe's own mouth he said he values Mal's opinion, and then said fukk his opinion. That's a level of disrespect that has to be addressed before moving forward. There has been a shift in power dynamics and it hasn't been discussed thoroughly. To me - the friendship is over/irreparably damaged, and the podcast doesn't work without friendship. Finish the contract and go separate ways

the low end. southside chi
Yeah that was a bad analogy by him. They kicked Martin Charlie sheen off his own show, and Roseanne. Like think about that, they fired Roseanne from Roseanne.

Mal really thinks the show dies if he leaves, and now hes mad because he realized hes not only an employee but he’s an expendable one. When joe heard that they could still be friends if he left its like a weight lifted off his shoulders. I can tell by the tone in joe and parks voices they didn’t really want them to come back.
chalrie sheen wanted to leave 2 1/2 men and they wouldnt let him lmao
then they finaly killed off his character

I need to relisten to some of their old takes. The Dev leaving MDWOG pod for example. I think Rory sided with Dev and Joe sided with Gillie interestingly. Also, the episode where they discussed Ace Hood's interview saying he fell out with Khaled because Khaled didn't consult him when he decided to take the label to a new home. The debate was whether Khaled needed to consult Ace or not.

Whenever these kinds of business conversations come up in the future it's going to be real awkward.
