Because Joe thrives off semantics and dancing around the main issue when it suits him, and diving deep into an issue when it suits him.
This is what I used to do with women that I didnt respect throughout my entire 20s.
This is what Taxstone addressed with Joe on that famous podcast where they got into an argument.
Joe is trying to treat Mal and Rory like one of them Dominican bytches.
He should have flat out said "Im the boss, you are not. We are not equals."
That foundation then sets the tone for every other conversation that follows. But without that fundamental understanding, the conversations keep going back and and forth between friendship, loyalty and business, with each of those things being weighed differently depending on the person speaking and the circumstance they are speaking on.

Well, they definitely appear to be more popular than any of those female podders on his network. But then again, they were on Joe's show...
As the weeks went along Ish and Ice episodes got less views. If I'm Joe, the goal is to get the Network to make me money w/o me having to be there (which is what he's trying to do with the ladies).
He should give them their own show and see how it goes. Small investment on his part.
Edit: and since I'm looking at views...Rory's episode on See the thing is got double the views as Joe's. This podding shyt is all about chemistry
That's due to the controversy, aint got a damn thing to do wit chemistry. If Joe went on them bytches shyt during them 6 weeks that episode would shyt on the Rory one.

You can still sense bad energy between Rory and Joe, while Mal seems largely indifferent. The diss track discussion, some of the looks, the "accounting line" joke...yea this shyt is still brewing. But like many have said this is the bed they made by being bums. They have no other option. Spotify not jumping out the window to give them a solo deal minus Joe.
Even in the previous ep after they expressed everything and went back to talking about normal news...when Rory asked Joe for a DMX story, Joe basically said fukk you no.
