I disagree, I have worked with friends and family on projects and had issues, very bad issues, but as I have got older these have been resolved. The main thing to do is respect whoever you work with - friends or family, like a member of the team. Once there is respect, and focus on the objective + very clear communication that everyone is happy with, then it is fairly straight forward. It is hard for sure, and you need reasonable people but it can be done. I think Mal and Rory are right people to do business with, but Joe is not! Joe is the exception here...
