Y’all think joe should’ve let his friends especially mal see the books? I’m asking. I would let my friends see the books if that made them feel better.

It's a hard question, not because I may be doing something wrong. But maybe because I don't want them to see how much money I'm truly getting (especially if I'm busting my ass behind the scenes and they just show up to talk).

I can see it creating a divide where they would be asking me why I'm putting some of the money earned back into the pod, why did I take X cut to get this, why did Y cut do that.

I think once that seed is planted and trust is lost, it could become a string of questions. Maybe even jealousy if I'm doing extremely well. But I'd give my boys fair deals. It sounds like it was fair, but idk

Removing biases and preconceived narratives on all parties and from a business stand point Joe was not wrong (according to his story....we still dont know the other sides and the truth) how he handled it on a personal level with his supposed “friends” is where he’s at fault and fukked up (specifically for Mal, but if thats his mans like that, i can see where the emotions can take over in the middle of a rant), but thats assuming they all viewed that friendship 1 way. Interested in hearing the other sides to see if anything Joe said business wise can be refuted. Joe’s delivery is always gonna be his downfall and partly why ppl might be siding more with mal and rory.
