:mjlol: im half way through and rory is talking
i see whats going on

these nikkas should of had a discussion and all of this would of been avoided

this also sounds like all this started when joe was gone off pills and during his breakup with cyn

oh, they still dont understand that they are infect employees
yeah thats the disconnect there
They aren’t tho. They have a profit sharing contract. But Joe doesn’t wanna honor it and wants them to be employees :mjlol:

Joe didn't want the expense of Rory and Mal. That's what the situation seems like to me . If you are profit partners the books need to be shown.

Yup. Looks like Joe started to see how much putting these guys on a percentage was hitting his bottom line and wanted to snake around by not showing them the books and trying to put them on salary.

Yea he wanted to use the money he would have paid them to fund the JBN. I bet you if he had gone to guys and said they would been ok with it.

But then Joe would have had to pay them of JBN profits(when it became profitable) too since they would have been funding it.

After hearing both sides, I think they are both telling the truth. It's pretty easy to see what happened:
  1. Joe started the Pod thinking he could leverage it to something else in the media
  2. Rory and Mal joined up thinking if it becomes something cool, if not they are just chillin anyway
  3. The Pod becomes something. They all want to do this "friends not business partners" shyt that never works.
  4. Joe sees himself as the boss from Day 1. Agrees to a % with the other 2, figures he will pay them and they will be good with it since they "friends"
  5. Mal/Rory think Joe is their "friend" and will pay them fairly by the %
  6. Money/moves seem to be off, Rory/Mal ask questions
  7. Joe gets mad, thinks his "friends" asking questions means they think he's cheating them. He stops trusting them
  8. Joe overreacting to their simple questions makes Rory/Mal think Joe's cheating them, they stop trusting him
  9. Over time shyt just keeps getting worse
  10. Joe overreacted, being the Diva/Narcissist that he's always been (most artists are), and now the differences are irreconcilable
Similar to if a girl accuses her boyfriend of cheating on her when he ain't, so he says fukk it and then cheats on her out of spite for being accused. At the end of the day, the only people who actually got screwed is us (the fans), because we lost a dope Podcast because these clowns couldn't communicate :mjcry:

Parks is definitely sucking up to Joe something silly, but everyone seems to forget that he was the common bond between everyone in the room. Mal was his guy. Parks was his engineer. He met Rory doing some rap shyt. He brought them together. Can't blame Parks for sticking with the one who has been his guy, especially if he's also the one paying him. He mentioned on the last pod that he didn't really get down with Mal, and all his interactions with Rory were through Joe and the Pod. It's actually wild that Mal was the one who sided with Rory over his man, but if you hear him tell it on the vimeo, he stood by what he believed in. That's respectable :ehh:

Not like it matters but my respect for Mal has definitely gone up after all of this. He could've easily stayed on, Kept his bag, And been sucking dikk like Parks but he stood by what he thought was the right thing to do, Which a lot of people say they would until put in the position where they have to do it.

He’s always said “cloth, morals, respect” and it when it came time to show it... he did it.
