Anybody who doesn’t believe every word Rory and Mal said either doesn’t know Joe Budden or is just being ignorant.

All this is spot on. Glad I listed to Kevin Hart there.

This is a bit of an appeal to experience, but I don’t see how anyone that’s ever had any leadership experience and been commended for it, or had any type of success in ownership and believing that the buck stops with you...could see it much of any other way.

Hart’s take is basically exactly how I feel. I watched the podcast today and neither one of them came across as entitled, money hungry, or jealous.

I'm blown nikkas acting like this is a radical fukking concept. I audited my last job every fukking quarter to make sure things were on the up and up based on what I expected vs what they had on their end, to make sure I was getting paid right. And they were happy to open up the books. The only reason to not open up the books when percentage payments are involved is if you are moving crooked. Some of these nikkas on here are weird man.

Yep. It’s not rude or anything personal to ask, when it’s literally the key ingredient to your pay structure.

If you have a pay structure where you get paid based on the percentage of revenue, you literally aren’t an employee getting paid via salary, hourly wage, etc.

No one is saying Joe, Rory, and Mail had a 33/33/33 split. I’m sure Joe had the bulk of the percentage. But Rory and Mal getting paid off the revenue and profit means they aren’t Joe’s employees, even if they seem like it, or hell, even if they should be.

Joe could’ve prevented this by making them salaried employees from the jump. But they built the brand in order to have a larger pie to take their percentages from. It’s not right to not open the books for them.

I'm telling you I think Joe Budden turned down the spotify deal because they were going to deal with them as a group and not Joe Budden Solo. Spotify was probably going to give Rurry and Mealy Mal millions directly. Joe wanted the money to come to him first and then he can pay Rurry and Mealy Mal.

"Too involved"? Guy was kekeing cracking jokes about respect with Joe in Mal's face, knowing the friction was like it was. Then made it very clear whose "side" he was on constantly adlibbing and piling on the very same episode they got fired on. Then turned around mid episode and tried to play the high road card on them nikkas, talking about how much he loves them and how much everything hurt. nikka you sounded happy as fukk they were gone lol.

Besides Joe destroying shyt as usual, he pasty ass ain't being brought up the way it should be. Instead I keep seeing bail being shot for this nikka "Parks is only loyal to money", I see through it. He knew Rory & Mal's shyt was fukked up the whole time too, but he knows you can't fukk over the nikka in charge of engineering and the roof over your head when you record so he knew his shyt was solid no matter what, then he took advantage. They told y'all just today their Patreon checks went to that nikka. It's clear at this point money was kept from those two, what else has gone to Parks over all these years? nikkas can think he's just a innocent soul that manned the boards all they want, fukk all that.

Joe is dumb but he ain't an idiot. Replacing Parks audio engineering and studio will be a HUGE hassle. That isn't something you can really take a chance on.
