:yeshrug: if you care enough to watch the fake tears instead of not listen to it

not to go tit for tat and there's never really a good time, but if not now, when;

im interested to see if the black social media skreets hold black/ethnic women to the same "protect black women" standards that they do men. those chicks were on there yuking it up w/o a fuk given when he was sliming olivia up. i dont care about a couple comments...ARE THEY GONNA GET FRIED OR NOT? if not, we need to revisit all this "accountability." is it all about just shytting on men only or is this outrage resort all inclusive?

For as far as that piece of shyt CTG use to go, I never got the feeling he actually wanted to do half the shyt he said. And I know he aint tell J-Lo no shyt like that when the mics weren't hot.

With Joe, you could tell this nicca thought he had built up enough cache and clout to turn any broad into the next Kaylin. He was telling Olivia that shyt off the air, on the air and again, he was her boss, so called CEO, in a position of power over here.

They both 2 pieces of shyt to me tho and I still don't belive that mental health rebrand from CTG in full 1 bit lol
Joe was a legit celeb. Charlamagne was kinda adjacent to celebs so no one took him seriously until he became a staple as a cultural voice. Big difference.

This just like every other social media story and will be forgotten in 2 weeks unless she's pressing some type of charges. I keep seeing people saying its over for Joe and I just don't see it. I willing to bet tomorrow's pod does the same numbers if not more....
Yeah but this could affect future deals and endorsements.

The Pod will be fine but I'm sure hes lost a few listeners.

They should chill with that shyt though, because all it takes is one moment where she feels they went too far and it’s over

And people keep saying Joe’s her boss... welp, Cthagod is Taylor’s boss...

She might be rolling with the punches for the check, or maybe she’s just genuinely cool with it, but it’s a slippery slope..

And to the people who keep quoting me saying it’s different because Joe’s her boss, I hope y’all understand I’m not defending Joe. Harassment is harassment, whether it’s coming from your boss or a stranger in the street. So to me, it isn’t different. Different implies he’d be somehow less wrong had he not been her boss and she was just a regular guest. Wrong is wrong, and talking to women like that when they aren’t comfortable with it, is wrong

Joe was wrong regardless of if he was her boss or not. Do I think he intended to put her in that position? No, I do believe it was in the name of salacious content, similar to the brilliant idiots moment we mentioned earlier. That still doesn’t really matter though, she was made to feel uncomfortable so he has to eat that. Son a creep
Joe and OD had zero relationship prior as well. They didn't talk.

Charla and Taylor been cool for YEARS.

I definitely agree. I’m not even speaking on the situations around the actions that took place, I’m just speaking more so on the actions themselves.

It’s not a crazy rare isolated incident either. shyt like this happens on all those platforms. I watch a lot of brilliant idiots and trust me, the shyt they say to Taylor is wild. Just last week Char was trying to pimp her out to lil duval..

And it’s all obviously in the name of entertainment. They’re light heartedly joking in attempts to create salacious moments for the audience. Angela Yee’s lip service podcast was built on that shyt..

But once you put these little moments in a scope and really dissect them, it gets ugly.. because even if the intent isn’t to harass , that’s still essentially what you’re doing
Did Charlamagne tell Taylor he wanted to fukk her or hug her while girating his hips on air? I haven’t seen any of them do that.

They got fried. They spent just as much time on this podcast defending themselves from and crying about all the black women in their mentions calling them phony.

People bringing up Charla and Taylor is interesting as I thought about this today. I would say the difference is it is fairly established on the show, they are friends and have a brother sister relationship. He doesn't proposition himself to her but he does make fun of her (weight mostly) and her having experimented with girls and calls her a lesbian :russ:. But this is where context is important, you can twist most things these days for woke people to cancel on any out there jokes, but in the context of the show, it is all jokes, there is nothing hurtful really said and it is all fun and respectful. Taylor also plays along in most cases and it doesn't sound like she has a problem - they are close friends as well as co-workers.

I think Joe being a psycho may be looking for similar type of relationships with his female co-workers but building rapport and then teasing one another is way different than saying I want to fukk you, especially as they haven't established any relationship/friendship. Context matters. I hope people don't try to come for Taylor Charla because it actually doesn't make sense. And it basically means men and women can't even have jokes. It is easy to cancel everything without context.
