like @Piff Perkins said, just watch the drop off of people streaming the music after the hype. It’s really been the same story with Kanye for about a decade at this point

‘yeah this is similar to when joe left complex and the podcast took off the first time cause everyone was on some ‘fukk complex’ shyt, the only difference is the podcast was really good back then. Remember how everyone was like “yeah joe, you deserve to smoke those cigarettes in the bathroom, down with corporations!’

People are fickle, rory and mal don’t have the charisma to really carry a podcast for years, and the fact that its just them two talking will mean the fans will eventually get pissed and turn on them too, especially mal. Like, we can’t just forget how much nikkas started hating mal over the last couple of years, the sub reddit was nothing but maga mal hate threads every single podcast. Black women wanted to throw this nikka in the ocean after those tweets.

But we’ll see how long this continues, and I’m not praying for their drop off i just know how people are.

Some of you weirdos over complicate podcasts….With performance ratings and detailed analysis whether this can last, audio quality & if additional hosts are needed. (Basically make it into JBP version 2)

For most of us….its just a couple of guys talking and making jokes. We either want to listen to their conversation or not lol.

Drake is the bigger artist. I can’t even explain why people are hyped for this Kanye thing with zero music to go off brehs. Only impressive thing is that Kanye must be on his medication because he isn’t tweeting wild shyt. Def Jam is in full control right now. Can they land the plane? We will see. I stand by my position…this shyt will bomb in the second week.

Also I’m no Drake fan but the first Scorpion disc is really dope. I didn’t listen to the album a lot but it def had tracks I go back to. Is There More might be my favorite Drake track since the second album.

I think it’s weird to get into podcast beef and go above and beyond posting numbers and comparing them like you really got a stake in whether or not one of them loses to the other.

Like i can be fans of both joe and mal and rory.
