Y'all really gotta let this go bro. Even if you don't like their shows anymore, them getting back together would be awful. The whole premise of the podcast was based off real life friends kicking the shyts about music and current events, once it exposed that relationship was a facade, it killed the entire selling point of the content. The show would not hit anymore. The bond is gone. You can't fake chemistry. One you cannot trust your friend anymore, have them embarrass you multiple times on air and just outright no longer share in the same core beliefs of how a friendship should work, it's over. The Joe Budden Podcast with Rory and Mal as it was had its run, and was dope for it's time but it's over in that format and can't be redone and rehashed.

I think Rory and Mal are on a good trajectory, it's really hard to gauge Joe's podcast honestly. While I kinda like the content still, it's definitely not must listen to every week like it used to be. But I'm not sure if it's the quality as much as it's nothing I care about is happening lol.

I dont know if this is what Joe and his fans do to compensate for the fall-off but Rury and Mal are doing very well and have good content. You not liking them doesn't make them flops.

Yeah they r doing well right now. But it’s not good content. The Belly shyt was good. The earl shyt was good. But the regular podcast are trash. Listen to the last episode and tell me u enjoyed that.

This is one of the main reasons I've always only done audio of the podcast...it's distracting and gross.

Cleary you and I have divergent views on that podcast.

I'm of the opinion that the Belly and Earl episodes were two of their worst.

The last proper podcast episode they had was really good, though

Rory and Mal podcast sucks too. Last episode was sooooooo terrible.


They need to work out their problems and try to get back together or some shyt. Both struggling content wise

Some of what I heard hasn't been bad, but I dont care about the single-man/fast women/IG hoecentric bullshyt. That's been about 60 percent if the content so far. Its probably smart however, being that they've been able to build up a female audience, way more than Joe by himself.

Last episode wasn't bad. I said I'd at least half listen to JBP as long as he isn't doing the woe is me, talking down to his audience schtick. Don't insult my intelligence.

Parks will be phased out soon. It's clear as day. Energy in there is bad.

I dont know what the fukk Ice was talking about, but its hard for me to identify with someone going on 40 still listening to that hyperviolent bullshyt and justifying listening to it.

I dont think Joe is afraid of DaBaby per se, but they are certainly intentionally falling short of killing him. On the low, he's been dropping straight trash since KIRK. That music sounds awful.

The conversations aren't bad...I just don't necessarily care all that much. If they're gonna do it they should bring in a female, imo

there's folks that big up r&m pod to shyt on joe. there's a subreddit full of them....I'm not saying ole boy is that, but i question anybody who thinks that pod is better than the current jbp.

It's not better than jbp, but it's not trash either. It's not that hard to imagine them having real fans, there are much bigger podcast that are far less interesting than rory and mal. They aren't better than Joe, but I feel like they are better than most other hip hop related podcast.

Joe is just naturally entertaining, as a personality he might be the best in the (hip hop) podcast space, but he's not the guy to grow some shyt. He definitely needs someone behind the scenes to handle the business aspect of the podcast.

I listen to both, and R&M has been better IMO. Nothing to question - it's all preference. Worth noting, I'm only listening to the free eps - the Patreon eps I've heard have been money. I will say that the past two free eps have been good. Ish has been holding them down, in spite of Joe lol

All this shyt is background noise to me

I enjoyed the last episode of R&M though. I didn't fukk w the Belly interview ep. The last couple of JBP eps have been the best they've had in months

Joe wouldn’t mention his name on the Tekashi & Wack100 segment from yesterday’s episode and then when he got on live someone asked if he’d have Akademiks on his podcast he dodged the question and said ak has his own podcast go listen to that.
