He’s bringing his Twitter trolling to live audio. Saying things he doesn’t believe just for a reaction.

I’ve never heard anyone in my life say either sequel is better than the original simply because it’s not true :yeshrug: people been asking for Smokey to come back going on damn near 30 years now
None of the sequels are better, but I too share the opinion that Friday After Next is the funniest. It's way less serious than the two before it combined so there's much more room for jokes and silliness. Next Friday is my least favorite because it's a worse story than the OG but not as funny as After Next.

Like someone said before.. the first Friday was dope because it was based in realism and the last two were nowhere near that.. but I do agree Friday After Next was better than Last Friday...

The first time I saw Next Friday I was :hhh:

It took me a few viewings to appreciate it. If it was more centered around working at Pinkys I would of liked it more.

Next Friday wasn’t immediately a hit in my mind. It definitely grew on me tho. Every line is damn near classic now

Ish's take on how much Stephen A would make as an independent felt weird and out of character for him. Felt personal for him tbh.

Finishing the patreon and yeah....Joe is on crack

Spent the whole podcast talking about Ak and Charlamagne being "inside" and scared to do stuff independently or whatever outside of spotify, twitch, etc., Just talking....

Then when they bring up Pat Macafee and his deals with Fanduel, etc. it's different and he's championing it......:snoop:

Joe is torn between his wet dreams of wanting to be a corporate dude and a wild free rage against the system creator :mjlol:

He always bigs up random executives, on some "I was talking to this lady, she was the senior executive global vice president of something out there, these people move different, you can't get in rooms with such people". Then next episode it's fukk those empty suits, you just workers, I'm an owner :childplease:

:russ: except it was at "Pay-Tree-In"
I remember when he came in with that announcement and forced RM to congratulate him lmao.

I was like wait a minute, this nikka came back with a fancy patreon profile after all that wolfing over Spotify, and his co-hosts aint even apart of the deal. He never looked more nuts than in that moment

If he believes he could have the deal someone has he hates on jt
If he knows nobody would give him a certain status or deal or that he CANT do what another person does he treats it like it’s an impossible skill
Pat played football and is an expert but also is a good host. Joe can’t compete with that level of expertise and experience especially when it comes to sports
In terms of gossip and media? In his mind he’s as good as Ak and Char so of course he throws shade. Same way he hated in drake until he legit retired from rap.

Man I especially remember this b/c he was wearing some wild looking sweater/frock shyt. Mal and Rory's face said it all and I knew then that there was issues going on especially after fumbling that SPotify bag. Wasn't it confirmed that they offered 20-25 million and he turned it down without telling them?

The money he turned down from Spotify had licensing implications that he was not ready to hand over.

Sometimes it is more lucrative to license your intellectual properties for a period than to solely run it yourself and find out you're not able to cover the overhead expenses.

It’s a case of Joe again changing his story multiple times. On that EYL interview he says he was offered 30 million but they wanted the ability to insert ads into the show. He’s also said at other times that he turned it down because Spotify wanted rights to his other properties. He also said at different times it’s because they wanted to put the whole crew on 360 deals.

I think it basically comes down to him really thinking he was going to get a deal worth nearly 9 figures and when he didn’t get it started making up bullshyt excuses for why he turned down the 30.
