Black was for all black people in the world prior to about 5 years ago... Wasn't no latin people calling themselves black on a grand scale until recently... And still, most would fight you for calling them black, even being blacker than me
So yea.... these are one of those subjects you wanna press, but society says now that if you say "She's Latina not black," you about to catch a bullet
I don't think a lot of fans notice it, but Joe is VERY politically correct on this show and the others follow. You can tell the exact instance where someone thinks "man if I say what I'm thinking, the internet is gonna kill me.' And then they dial it back or say the technical answer that isn't really wrong.

Back in the day, everyone called Hispanic people Spanish. Why? Because they spoke Spanish. Not because they were from Spain.
The push for calling people Latinos and Hispanic is really something that was pushed after 2000.
