I’m going by the definition of what a single parent household is. Most Black households are not married households, hence single parent households. If it makes you more comfortable, it is common knowledge that most Black children in America are born out of wedlock even among people who don’t regularly interact with Black people.

What do both of those parents fill out as their status on forms? Single. Regardless most Black children are in a single parent household even by your definition, especially after their toddler years.
