It's an excuse that sounds better on paper than, i think we should be in charge, when planning to overthrow a guy who took out your enemies top guys but it doesn't hold up with too much thought. The whole thing is just a power grab, they are using fear of the new alien threat to make Coulson look bad by blaming him. The only reason it's working is people are easy to manipulate when they are scared.Not a bad episode.... But the thing that kills me is that why dont the real shield guys just reveal themselves to colson... talk shyt out... bring him into the fold... they talk about transparency and secrets but they want that Toolbox right....
