Just copped a mikro for $220 in mint condition. Bought in January rarely used.

I was lookin for a mikro for awhil but finally took the plunge. I hate lugging my full maschine around.

But that price drop helped knock dudes price down $50

I'm thinking about coppin a Maschine to start making beats..what do I need besides a laptop? ableton? fl studio? is there a way I can get ableton for free?

You can do everything inside machine 2.0 if you go that route.

You can use maschine all by itself with no problems at all.

however, me personally I use ableton AND Maschine.

I make 80% of my beat/track with maschine. then open up ableton and open that beat from maschine as a vst.
then use all the tracks to fill out the beat, or add an acepella. add effects,etc IN ableton
