Sunday evening thoughts on Michigan’s finish following the last official visit weekend of the process.
After talking with a couple people regarding the nation’s No. 1 recruit in five-star defensive tackle
Rashan Gary, I still believe it’s going to be Michigan. I do think the interest in Clemson is real and I’ve gone from once thinking Auburn was the biggest challenger, to Ole Miss being the biggest challenger to now it being the Tigers.
Regarding Top100 athlete
Jordan Fuller, a decision wasn’t made yet Sunday morning which is a good thing for the Wolverines. This one in my opinion was all Ohio State going into an official to Ann Arbor this past weekend and I think Michigan is making this decision very tough. We’ll see what happens.
I still have Top100 cornerback
Lavert Hill ending up with Michigan, although once source Sunday said if Fuller ends up a Wolverine, that could push Hill to the Spartans. Either way, Michigan State is very much in this. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up in East Lansing or Ann Arbor but I’m still riding with the Maize and Blue here.
I have kicker
Quinn Nordin in the class.
I don’t have a 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast in on
Connor Murphy but if I did it would be for the Wolverines. The intel I have is in favor of Michigan but I don’t have enough to pull the trigger.
As you know I have Top247 receiver Nate Johnson sticking with the Wolverines when he announces on Signing Day. Michigan continues to talk to
Keyshawn Young but right now I have the receiver from Florida out of the class.
Four-stars
Boss Tagaloa,
Devin Asiasi and
Isaiah Simmons are all takes if they want to come.
