Peyton O'Leary. Not explosive at all, but sure handed.

So are you watching the games, or are you going by another Joe Moore award semifinalist invite? We've got elite run blocking with absolute mediocre pass pro. Does that scream Joe Moore to you?

So you accept mediocrity and you're ok with attributes that have been installed in our identity, going to shyt. The same attributes that won us a natty. Cool. We LITERALLY do ONE good thing as a team. And that's run the ball.

That's it. Literally.
Yeah , I disagree.

They run the ball at an elite level largely in part due to the Oline and the defense is really good. QB and WR play are night/day from last year even if nothing too remarkabke yet.

The Oline is definitely an upper tier unit. You might be overrating how good Oline play is across America. Ask Alabama and Ohio State if they would like to run the ball better. Throw in the fact the line is mostly freshmen and RS freshman and Grant Newsome has worked magic. Pass pro is average not awful and a lot of that is freshman QB young enough to be in Hs making bad reads.

WR play is trending up. The only real gripes is special teams and some in game coaching decisions, but even “elite” coaches like Sark, Riley, Lanning, Deboer have struggled against bad competition this year so not sure what the “fire Sherrone” thinks would happen other than a mass transfer exodus erasing the momentum for the final 2 Bryce years and potentially hiring a coach who looks good on paper but fails and now you’re looking at a lost decade.

@DropTopDoc .. question..

Last year:

- Bad clock management.
- Bad decisions on offense.
- Terrible substitutions (I.e. leaving guys like Senaj in there to fukk shyt up)
- Regressing OLine play.
- Undusciplined (penalties, missed tackles etc)

This year:

- Bad clock management.
- Bad decisions on offense.
- Terrible substitutions (I.e. leaving guys like Senaj in there to fukk shyt up)
- Regressing OLine play.
- Undusciplined (penalties, missed tackles etc)

Whose fault is that?

I’m on record. Sherrone’s mid as fukk and we should move on. Not because I don’t like him. Not because I didn’t want his to succeed. But because he’s in over his head.

We should be building momentum off of the natty. We’re regressing. Period.

some things to clean up for sure, but minus the turnovers we dominate this game

nearly 500 yards of total offense, most in a game for michigan since TCU in 2022
won the rushing battle 216 to 61
true freshman 12 receptions for 189
offensive line held up enough for 3rd string walk on to succeed

All that's fair. I think what kills me the most is the bold. Because the things that needed to be cleared up this game has been the same stuff since last year imo.

To add on

- we out gained them by 244 yards
- More than double first downs
- Bryce threw for more yards than northwestern had total yards
- We also were 29 rushing yards away from having more rushing yards than they had total yards.
- 9/14 on 3rd down

The team is undisciplined, turnover prone, and has redzone issues because its the youngest team in the big ten with a 39 year old 1st time head coach but theres been clear growth...
