Its not really fair but ratings are down, all the way around (PPV and TUF). So they gotta do what they gotta do. 
smh chael has done nothing to get this shot. guess if your good with dana than your good. we all know this is for ratings and ppv buys
listen i'm not one of those guys that thinks there should be ranking set in stone or anything like that. I'm actually all for fast tracking guys and jumping them ahead for the sake of the fight but this isn't a good fight. And that's my main problem.
Chael is an average fighter who bring nothing to the table. He's going to jump up a weightclass after coming off a loss and jump ahead of Hendo, Machida, Shogun, Glover, Gustaffson. All of which are better fights imo.

WOW... being buddies with Dana gets you what you want....This is a big FU to everyone else in the division esp Hendo who has to fight Machida to get another title shot. SMH
Wasnt there rumblings that dana is punishing Hendo (for not telling about injury after 2 weeks it happen) and Machida (turning down the Title Shot at 152)?
thats the only reason why dana decided to
both of them and just give it to sonnen

#1 contender/interim title - Winner of Dan Henderson vs Lyoto Machida.
1st in line - Winner of Mauricio Rua vs Alexander Gustaffson.
2nd in line- Phil Davis vs Glover Texeira.
I think Sonnen should fight the loser of Davis vs Texeira or Rashad Evans. The same things goes for Cormier if he actually drops. I don't know if Rashad is dropping or not but he should fight another one of the losers. I don't even really know what to do with Belfort.

exactly all these people they are supposedly skipping for chael dont want the fight or are still being built up.. im just mad that they wont give any contender too much of a challenge in fear of them cancelling each other out..

there's not a single fighter that won't fight Jon with a full camp. They can make any fight they want right now and they chose Chael because TUF is on it's death bed. Don't start that "don't want the fight" stuff for this match.
Dana goes full desperation and not only hands Chael the next title shot, but will have Jones and Sonnen coach the next TUF.
1. Chael doesn't deserve a title shot in any way. At LHW you could argue Hendo, Shogun, Teixera, Machida, and Gustafsson are all far more deserving.
2. TUF needs a makeover badly. The in-house stuff is annoying, the format is stale, and the contestants are getting worse every season. This is just putting lipstick on a pig.
3. Chael has no shot of beating Jones. ZERO. He can't take him down (Jones has fought bigger and better wrestlers) and he can't knock him out. Unlike Silva, Jones is a horrible matchup for Chael.
4. We were lead to believe that the UFC is different from boxing because the best fighters get the title shots. So how is a 5-6 UFC fighter getting his 3rd title shot? I really don't care how much he talks; he can't prove it in the Octagon.

If Glover can take Page down he SHOULD be able to end it with a sub. But his GnP might not be able to set it up properly.
Then again, if he drops his hands like he did with Maldonado, he done.
