Here we go. Some of us think Conor should vacate or defend his belt and suddenly we don't know shyt about MMA :camby:

It's simple, either he defends his FW belt or vacates it and stops holding up the division. He can fight super fights the rest of his career if that's what he wants.

so now Nate and Connor are the same size :laff:

Yes they are, they weighed the same without cutting weight. And Nate came off the couch (vacation) drinking tequila. McGregor talked up his size ADVANTAGE over RDA before they were going to fight and his own coach worries he can't weight cut to FW much longer.

GTFO this thread clown :mjlol::camby:

Amazing that this is so hard for some to understand.

Answer me this, name me another fighter where hes a champ (145) fighting a fighter who fights at 155 at at another weight(170 pounds) where another fight is taking place for an interm title on the SAME CARD :mindblown:

(1)I like the direction Dana and McGregor are taking for the UFC...They are letting EVERY fighter know, "If you really want it, come get it"...

We don't have to wait 10 years to see fights that can be made a few days, if the fighters REALLY want to fight...

Conor is a move forward fighter going for the kill, Nate is a move forward fighter who fights harder when you bring the fight to him...It is a MUCH BETTER fight than a Frankie "play it safe and try to win by points first fighter"...

I am NOT interested in seeing McGregor vs Edgar any time soon...After the Nate fight, McGregor should fight Aldo (I hope Aldo beats Edgar)...Edgar is only exciting when an aggressive fighter takes him to deep waters...He comes in to win by points, so it is not a GUARANTEED good fight like Aldo or Diaz...

Wtf that gotta do with what i asked?

and when you even sound a bit logical, you still dont answer the fukking question

So Ariel says that Aldo vs Edgar isn't the co main event for 200.

I don't believe it. What other fight can they make?

Poor poor Aldo :ohnooo:

The UFC is making that L sting something vicious.
Aldo is being a baby...
I still believe that McGregor got lucky, but the fact is that Aldo got slumped...He needs to go the gym and get back to beast mode...Kill anybody the UFC puts in front of him, and make a case for himself to be given the opportunity to fight for title again...

This "I am only going to fight if it is a title fight" shiz is NONSENSE...That is NOT champion talk...That is someone who knows that he can be beaten trying to avoid another defeat...Yes, he was champ for 10 years, but he only defended the title 7 times...

Aldo was not a dominant champ...He fought safe fights and tried to win by points...He seldom fought to his FULL potential...I hear he is a BJJ Black Belt, but we haven't seen that in his UFC fights...He had that Canadian boy LUMPED, but he never made an attempt to take him down and submit him, because he was winning and was ok to win by decision...

:dwillhuh:

Only GSP, Silva and Jones had longer defense streaks

It is TOO soon to start demanding for dude to vacate his belt...Werdrum hasn't even fought since he became champ...:russ:

If Conor is healthy, he can defend his belt at the end of the year, and he will be on par with the average UFC Champ fighting once a year...

The simple answer to your question is "So, what?" I was just trying to give you a more thoughtful response...

Diaz is hot right now, and Conor is still hot right now...They want to fight each other, and the fans will pay to watch...That's good enough reason...

You seriously think he's ever fighting at FW again? The dude looks emaciated at that weight, and by the end of the year it would be a year since he fought at that weight. Roy Jones went up and down in weight dramatically and it ended his prime prematurely.
