Not finishing a fight does not make you a lay and pray fighter. Lay and pray is when you control somebody on the ground, while landing little to no [or weak] ground and pound. That's not what GSP does. Look at Ben Henderson. He has had 5 straight decisions wins, but all of them have been exciting fights [except for the last Edgar fight, which was good, but not that great]. You wouldn't say Bendo is a lay and pray fighter?

I used him as an example because I've actually seen people call him a lay and pray fighter.
People throw around the term lay and pray far too much. Fighters like GSP and Chael Sonnen are not lay and pray guys, they're constantly trying to inflict punishment and/or advance position. Maybe you can criticize them for not being as aggressive in finishing fights when they have dominant positions but to say they're lay and pray guys is inaccurate.

I am sorry but sans the condit fight what gsp does is a modern interpretation of l&p.It might not look as glaring to the naked eye as when his predessors did but the principles are still the same.
To have such dominance over your opponent in every facet on the floor and non of it leads to something resembling a finish? nah what dude does is jjust enough passing and rabbit punches/elbows to appear active but by in large hes holding dude down to neutralize him with the sole intention of riding out the clock.Hence why its seen as lay and praying
sonnen is the definition of a lay and pray fighter, he was on top of anderson for 4.5 rounds in the first fight and he couldnt even bruise him at all
You're criticizing their ability to finish fights/inflict damage not whether they are being active and working to gain better advantage
I interpret lay and pray as guys who once they get the fight to the ground will simply not try to advance position or attempts minimal strikes and I don't see either of these guys doing that.

Its not about believing everything dana says if it was a lie dont you think mr outspoken hendo would have refuted it on social media? 
The title is not the UFC Women's Championship, its the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship. There's no way Dana makes this fight unless it's for this title and the only way that happens is at 135lbs.
In reality, Cyborg has to move down simply because all the depth in women's MMA comes from the 105-135lb weight classes. Dana's not going to let Cyborg come in and beat his only draw then have no one to face.

I say this to people all the time...and this goes into something that @Heelhook and i say all the time.
People confuse position with dominance. Just because you have "top" doesnt mean youre doing shyt. Sonnen was in Anderson's guard a good portion of that fight, and when he had side control/mount, he wasnt doing much.

Most of those broads who fight at 135lb can easily make 145 and probably walk around heavier than that. There is a division for that weight. i can name at least 10 females at 145 to feed to Cyborg. People want Gina to come back and fight Ronda, it will have to be at 145 because Gina struggles to get to 145.
Sidebar, IIRC a condition of the suspension is regular urine tests, Cyborg says she is tested often by the athletic commission so right now she is walking around at 160-170 pure bad azz muscle

I am talking about the injury and I really dont see the point in citing the no 1 contendership switcharoo hes trying to sell this shogun/gus fight as meaningful..No way shogun faces jones again after just one win (without a freak injury)
