i bet Dana wouldnt say shyt to anderson if he wanted the 185 & 205 belts at the same time

As a fan why would you want a divsion held up like that? People complain about GSP not being active previously and it would basically the same thing. Pettis would in theory fight more but one division would be on hold in alternating cycles. And if he gets hurt...............

I mean if we are playing fantasy MMA sure but from a business perspective Dana isn't doing it and it makes no sense to let one man hold two belts in different divisions.

why not ? If Pettis can pull this off, he will become a superstar. which means more money making fights for the UFC.

I know Dana will never go for this, but don't tell me it's not possible or not a good idea.

if y'all talkin bout fantasy mma, between aldo movin up to 155 an melendez at 155, Showtime has zero zero zero chance.

Yeah at 145 i wld give showtime a slight chance cuz its gettin to the point where its too much weight for Aldo to be cutting. But aldo puttin on weight n fightin at 155 is a scary thing. Ask Faber bout em....

Bader already fought Lil' Nog no?

:ohhh: Damn.....I don't even remember watching that fight..was it rematch worthy?
Why does Pettis want to move down? I thought the next logical fight would be a rematch with Bendo

What's next for Frankie? Dude just cannot catch a break

Anthony Pettis was on the MMA Hour...said he doesn't cut weight, is on a diet all the time, and only had to lose 2lbs his last fight so making 145 would be no problem..he said hes tired of waiting for fights
ideally hed like to fight both aldo and henderson

If he feels he can make the weight and it won't effect his performance, good for him. I can see his rationale because he could be fighting Aldo a lot sooner than the winner of Gil/Bendo and it is easier to cut weight while young. He can always go back up to 155.

If he were to get the fight and beat Aldo to be the new champ, rest assured he wouldn't be fighting in both divisions for a belt. The UFC would keep him at FW, I hope he gets the shot. Have Lamas/Korean Zombie on the same card with the winner facing whoever is champion.
